Making bets isn’t making cash deposits

A lot of the casinos have players cards where you have to deposit cash at the window or in a machine to get the funds uploaded onto the card for use within the casino.
For BSA/AML purposes, it is treated like a cash deposit or withdrawal.

I mean that's every sales tax out there?
More taxes always suck, wonder which Congress person added this to the bill, really wish all bills had to be single issue.

Or maybe you are wrong which is a solid third option.

The only purpose behind structuring is to avoid a CTR. The cards collect and document all the data anyway, so if you're trying to structure, using your players card is a real bad way to start.

I posted it already. Its mike crapo from idaho, a state where sports betting is illegal. Not sure they even have regular casinos

So we just switch back to offshore books or make sure the winning wagers from legal apps dont exceed $900 apiece?

Offshore books. I dont think the second part is gonna change anything.
They track wins and losses and report that to government no matter how much you withdrawal

Not the government's job to curb that.

Vegas is gonna fight it for us. Now that it passed its getting more attention. Well except the poli boarders who cant accept that anything could possibly be wrong with legislation passed under trumps watch, even if this amendment had nothing to do with him

How many IRS audits have you done? I’ve done hundreds. They don’t just disappear. I guess it’s possible that they just closed the them because they didn’t have the man power, though I haven’t seen that either.

My apologies I should have used the term closed not disappeared. They said they said they got a call from the agent out of the blue saying the audit was closed.
