Stocks with reasonable valuations according to P/E, dividend yields, price/sales,
Or other value metriclike insider purchases

I like
BMY
AFL
MRK
LNC
CSCO
MO

These are not “moon shots” where you need “diamond hands” to invest.

Any other value picks out there?

What's up with MRK? Since hitting approx. $85/share on January 11th, it's been pretty much all down hill. I haven't been following the stock so wondering what happened recently.

My pick is OKE. PE ratio of 32, and a 8.44% dividend. With boomer juice going up week after week, this is gonna be a winner.

Headlines include failed COVID-19 vaccine, minority ceo leaving.

I assume they have stuff in the pipeline and these are just news items

I don't understand how they are so cheap, are there long-term concerns about their tech and being able to hold up?

23% net profit margins at 50B in revenue and 3% dividend!

And of course KO (it's not sexy nor is it meant to have explosive growth, but it will always dominate the competition).

IBM could be one to look at, but I need to dig into it more.

As far as REITs go, they are the king. But I don't like paying distribution taxes.

Maybe if I had upwards of 2 million liquid cash I’d buy some of these names.

Otherwise, I’d only consider call leaps.

DirectTV was a disaster, but we'll see how well the new deal with HBOMax goes
