I love ATT because they are one of the few turnaround plays that are actually priced like a turnaround should be. In a highly overvalued market, I like the combination of safety by entering at a deflated price, the 7% dividend, the reliable customer base/income from the cellular side, and the upside for growth with the potential of 5G and HBO Max. T is not a flawed company. They just made a bad decision with Directv and now they are working their way out of that bad decision at an appropriate valuation to reflect that.
