Boomers should’ve made shite ton in 2020. This volatility should be a blip
And some of us saw writing on the wall. I’ve posted it before, the others were never dramatic. Just a slow steady decline. They keep you in after dropping 10% one day by bringing it up 4 the next. You get your hopes up for it to fall 6 the next. Reduce risk to acceptable level, have cash ready when it turns. It will come back, but I think we’re in for a rough patch.

$6.5b all stock deal by a company with a $30b mkt cap will do that. I’m an OKTA customer and it’s far and away the best cloud-based IAM product out there IMO.
The AH price is under the 200 day MA. It’ll be interesting to see what it does from here if other tech stocks keep dropping. They’re still a powerhouse and reported 40% rev growth.

I'm sure it's on here somewhere, but anyone have a good idea of why tech comes are dropping? Even ones that seem to be on solid ground like Apple. Just adjustments that should settle soon enough or bigger concerns?

I’m guessing it has to do with tech was rolling during COVID and is sort of repositioning now.

Yea, I'm not going to stick around for this slow bleed. Keep an eye on it.

LOL I'd like to see what you consider a fast bleed. I would not call the recent bleed "slow"!

Awesome ER + stimmy + march madness/baseball/nba/hockey, in theory I really think DKNG should move significantly higher in the next few weeks. It is more reopening than growth/tech
announced this morning DKNG will be the official exclusive sportsbook for UFC
again, I love DKNG and its still very undervalued.

I would keep an eye on it. It may find some support here around $5, if not it could drop into the 3's.
It's a small lotto play for me and has a long way to go--and will burn through a shite ton of cash. Not sure how much more I want to put into it right now unless maybe it drops hard to under 4.

SKT today. Bought this morning at $20.55/share. Will see how it does

I find the DKNG and FUBO sports gambling TV integration plans fascinating. Initially I thought it would be a waste, since most may prefer to just use an app or website. While watching the Super Bowl I finally got it.
Beyond placing bets on games, imagine sitting there watching a game and having various algo based prop bets pop up throughout the game. With the click of a remote, you can place a bet on the ones you like. It's obviously a new avenue for reaching customers and could pull in new customers that rarely gamble on sports, but have some expendable money and will throw a little of that money here or there to make the games more entertaining.

I think there is certainly a market for what you are describing, albeit a small one. I still think the majority of betting will take place on the phone via the app. Not sure how many people will be okay with their tv being inundated with pop up bets
Posted on 3/4/21 at 8:26 am to hiltacular
Agreed. It will have to be an opt-in, likely on a game-by-game basis where you can tweak the amount of prospective bets. It may end up being a novelty, but it's definitely interesting.

Not trusting the market turning green this morning, we will be red by EOD.

Just bought 122 more shares of PINS at 72.46, hoping you're not right about that.
