bond yield scare was a nothing burger IMO

look for bargains...slap the 200 day overlay line on every chart you watch and find the bounce. it’s gonna be OK

Disagree and we probably need a whole thread on the topic

Strong bond numbers will let the fed start raising the overnight rate

The question is how will the administration handle it? They will want to push that as long as possible to save face, because when it comes the equity market will drop hard

I think anyway

I've got 10K. I like SQ right here at this price

Thoughts?

SQ
ROKU
SHOP

I've also been adding to my GNOG play. I have better than 12k in that and may add 5 more this week. Next Monday Feb 8th $11.50 warrants are set to expire. At the stock price now it may retreat some but $13 looks like the low.

I could see it hitting $22-$25 in a short timeframe.

My goal for exit is $45 for 75% out. Leave 25% for anything running higher.

I threw my last two bi-monthly investments into AT penny stonks (TSNP and ZOM) and am looking to get back into more stable stuff. Your FSTLY and ROKU recommendations have done well for me, so I'll add some Shopify tomorrow. I'm holding but not adding FSTLY, but I kind of want to add more ROKU at these prices. Problem is, it makes up 8.5% of my "side savings" (i.e. not retirement) so I'd like to diversify a bit.

frick diversification when you have winners. I sold off some roku for diversification and I can't say I'm happy even though it was the "smart thing to do."

You like ROKU more than Shopify?

I also really like ETSY. I'm very out of the loop when it comes to commerce, but one of my exes visited recently and I caught her perusing the site. She talked about how a lot of her lady friends, with a wide socio-economic background, loved the site. One of the huge banks (Chase?) had a report that expected women to control quite a bit more money/purchases than they do now (which is still a lot) and chicks really seem to dig ETSY. Prices on ETSY were a lot better early last week, but I like it long. I may just go heavy on all three (ROKU, SHOP, ETSY) the next few months.

ETSY, PINS, SHOP, ROKU all on sale and all primed for takeover.
buy and hold, and add when you can

Thanks buddy. I dabbled in Pinterest (the actual site, not the stonks) about 5 years ago and didn't really get the appeal. It didn't seem like it did anything that Facebook couldn't do. I'm definitely not saying that is has nothing to offer, but I'll invest in the other 3 and do some research PINS before investing. And yes, I understand that Pinterest is up nearly 4x since I last used the site.

My side savings are for a down payment on a home. It's well diversified (currently 50% in index funds). I'll keep it near those levels, sell what I NEED to for the down payment, and slowly sell off the rest over a decade.

Yeah hoping the green holds through the volatility. Stimulus should keep us propped, though.
