Any reason why you're buying LVGO instead of TDOC right now? If you're holding longterm, shouldn't TDOC be the play so you avoid the dividend tax event when they merge?

i havent added any of either since 8/5, but its a good question. i also cant find any definitive answer on whether the LVGO "special dividend" will be taxable as capital gains or whether it will be a return of capital.

i "think" most people here are trading short time frames so maybe it doesnt matter? the arbitrage though has always been on the LVGO side, up until now (LVGO trading below where it should, based on the merger formula)

High beta. Just something you got to deal with with high growth names.

The one good thing about Zillow and IPOB is that they zig when everything else zags. They are good for diversity.

From that list, I bought some CHWY shares today because I love dogs.

Im a bit cautious about the long term prospects of CHWY. Seems like something Amazon can easily destroy.

Are you guys expecting AAPL to jump on talks of new 5G phone and/or after earnings reveal at the end of the month?

An old friend who has traded Apple for years said he always buys after the actual release and sells on the hype run-up.
