Best bullish thesis is them being a takeover target at this point..... Market has lost faith in the CEO, expect he’ll get pushed out soon.

here’s my issue and I have spent 18 months learning everything I could about this company. When the outage happened, bixby came out and said how responsive the customers were to the quick fix of the outage and how upfront they were about it
outages happen...it’s happened to akamai, cloudflare, AWS, etc. it’s inevitable. So today in the call bixby says they have lost a top 10 client and are having trouble getting other clients fully back on board. How is this possible?
His clients don’t trust him that’s why. This is gross mismanagement and a fireable offense. They’ve treated shareholders with disdain and they’ve totally bungled the signal sciences buyout.
I’ll get back in when he’s fired and not before then
To say I’m disappointed is a galactic understatement. None of this had to happen

Seems like Ophir is in denial on this one....

I bought this at $70 and it's now lost half the value. When do I cut ship? I hate to be reactive after the earnings, but is this on the way back to the $20s?

i'm legit depressed about this...
at one point i was up 300%+ (i did take some off and book profits)but i realize i was fortunate with a 29 cost basis
i didnt lose any money and i'm sad for those of you who did. what a bummer

-16% to -6% over a few hours. We rallying, folks.

Yea I’m not giving up yet. It will probably stay depressed until some major changes or shake up happens, but the technology is there to really be special. I’m fine if this thing hangs around the high $30 range until they can get their shite together from an operational standpoint.
Couple things that could help:
- CEO change (get the current one out ASAP)
- M&A activity - either through a full on buyout or FSLY merging with a similar competitor to increase operational synergies
I’m going to continue to hold unless there is a continued downward trend back into the mid $20’s. Really hoping this thing finds some short term support at or near $39/40.

Slightly higher on cost basis that you, but same.
Wife is still pissed. She wanted to sell at $116 and then again at $130 and a few times in between. I was stubborn and gains are gone. Maybe one day I’ll learn to not be greedy and take profits
I still like the tech and going to hold on a few more months

FSLY have yourself a day fella! I'm not seeing any specific news for this almost 8% jump. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough though.

News today - "FSLY shares are trading higher as the company was granted a US patent titled 'Load balancing across origin servers."

Not gonna lie said i would never buy this again after taking that big hit earlier in the year but i'm back in as of this morning
In under 50 feels much better than where was when i bought this earlier in year. Getting it at the bottom and buying going up is much easier than buying top and riding it down.

Reviewing all my buy orders, they are all over the place. Bought as low as $31 and as high as $79 over the past 17 months. This thing finally back to right at my average cost of $49.79. Feels like I’ve been holding forever. If it breaks $50 I may reduce my position as I’m not as confident as I was on earlier buys, specifically around the company management, not so much their product.

Knowing the massive sell-off trends from the past few earnings releases, I would love to book some minor gains and get some of my position reduced heading into the Q3 ER on 11/3/21. Would like to do that at a price in the low to mid $50's if she can keep this positive momentum moving upwards.
