The 2020/2021 threads never get old. Pops and runups and cant misses, and how many lines can be drawn on a chart, I might not know how this grouping of letters makes money, but don't worry, it's a long term hold of mine.
I miss free money. I'll be the first to admit it made me feel pretty smart, and worst case, you could just make your losers "long term holds" because stocks go up.

Quite a generalization on the 2 year period, which I do agree with you on. But do you know what Fastly does? This thread is about one company, not the entire market. I happen to understand the company in detail, realize the potential, know that there is growth opportunities, and also feel confident investing long term.
Their problem for the past 12-16 months is poor management. They’ve fixed that.
So while your general statements are true I don’t see how it relates to FSLY.

Last night, I reread the first 5 pages or so of this thread. That is where my comment comes from. Sure there are a few people that actually know the company, but the vast majority of comments are complete nonsense.
I'm not trying to say anything about the stock or company as of today, just commenting on the general community mentality at the time this thread was created, which I always love to revisit when one of these old threads gets bumped.

Fair enough. If I had some time I'm sure there are a ton of similar threads from mid 2020 to mid 2021 that would make great entertainment.

Mind sharing your reasoning? The 24 and 25 calls are nearly 50% of the current price.

Stock replacement. I can sell the weeklies/monthlies against them and I think it will be much higher than $20 a year from now.

It doesn’t sound like they’ve yet recovered from crashing Amazon’s website and the subsequent loss of their largest client.
