No offense taken. I understand what you’re saying.
I don’t necessarily agree with so much government intervention. I think our country is in too much debt already and we are printing fantasyland money at this point. But isn’t the purpose of the stimulus to prop up the stock market? So how would investing the money not be accomplishing just that?

Didn't get mine yet. Went to the IRS site yet and it gave me an error. Big shocker.

The stimulus has more to do with the economy than the market.

I tried my info and my wife's and got errors with both. I haven't filed 2019 because we owe so I was waiting until today. Since 2018 my address and bank account has changed so I wanted to update both. I assume the payment was sent and will be bounced back. I could wait for a check or take the credit with 2020 I just wanted to get my info updated since I was expecting I would be able to. I hate myself for thinking it would work out of the gate.

Keep trying. I had to resubmit my direct deposit info 3 times before it actually worked

Making $74,995 as a single guy in La makes you poor?

I have a deposit this morning from the US treasurer so I assume it’s stimulus, (not 100% sure as I’ve applied for PPP as well)
The amount is not what I expected, a little less, and it came in as an odd number with cents? I was expecting an even whole dollar amount. What have you guys seen?

Did you make over 75k as an individual or over 150k as a household

I didn’t get anything. Apparently it’s been so long since I’ve gotten a refund, they didn’t have my banking info, lol. Wife fixed it online this morning.

I'll at least get $500 government bucks. Finally having a kid paid off.
Took a couple of tries, but was able to update bank info on the IRS website.

IRS used my wife and I's 2018 tax return to send our money. My wife's made it into our account, but mine went to an old account that I closed out last year. I guess I'm going to have to wait a couple months for a paper check after CapitalOne declines the payment.

I just added my bank info today. Sucks it goes by adjusted income; not taxable income.

The cut off is 198k for married couples so if you make over 150k you get a reduced amount. We just got our partial today.

Call the bank they may be able to send it to your current account. My 2018 refund was sent to an account that is now closed. I called my bank today and they said they payment hasn't come in yet but when it did they could send it to my checking account. The only downside is I have to call each day and see if the deposit was made.
