Up 30k today on 500 shares

I'm sitting here imagining what the actual GME employees at HQ are thinking right now.
We all know they have thousands and probably hundreds of thousands of RSUs that they got granted at $4/share.
Let's take a conservative example:
$100K of RSUs at $4/share, so 25K shares. Now valued at $130/share means that...those shares are now worth $3.25M
For anyone in leadership, that's a small amount of RSUs...they likely get that much or more annually.
So, there is a large number of HQ employees that are now sitting on 8 figure gains that are unrealized and they can't act (presumption they are in a blackout window).

I'm a retard when it comes to this for sure. Is it being run up real quick each day then dropping before close? I'm so lost.

quote:There hasn't anything been like this. Brokers borrowed GME shares to sell to those who wanted to short GME, which is why it is over 140% shorted float at end of DEC and probably higher come tomorrow when they release Jan's numbers. It actually shouldn't be legal at all to be able to do this but the rich is able to get away with a ton of stuff. Now they got caught and want to cry and blame the retail investors. Again, frick THEM betting on an american company going bankrupt. They so greedy they wanted to squeeze everything out of GME even when it was around $4.

Yeah I'd hate to see this shite in my RSU account knowing I can't do anything about it.
