There will be a lot of retail investors that make a lot of money, and even more retail investors (like individually counted) who lose their arse.
There have been a lot of shorts that have lost astronomical sums, and there will be (already are) plenty of shorts who make a mint.

I’ll happily debate anyone who wants to have a serious discussion about this.
From the 100%+ short interest to the WSB coordination, from the exchange halts to the platform restrictions, 95% of it was within the current rules and completely predictable. I’ll reserve that 5% just for unknown shite, but I don’t see anything we know about so far that hasn’t happened before.
