And that’s perfectly within their rights. Does it suck for the pump? Sure, but it happens on the downside too.
Trading platforms do not have to allow you to buy anything. Stocks exchanges have circuit breakers that trip on the up and downside. This has happened before and will happen again.

Right but to allow it and then suddenly stop when they are in over their heads is effectively changing the rules, pulling the rug, turning out the lights, taking their ball and going home. People got in under concept that “this is how things work”, because it’s been working like that for quite some time. How are you debating that? Whether it’s their right or not is not the point
