These people will put your logo on items. I have sent various items to my siblings over the years, they always comment on how good.

One of my favorite articles of clothing is a realtree camo beanie with a hospital logo monogrammed on it. They have gotten more than their fair share of advertisement from me with a $20 beanie.

We have a lot of stuff like that. I would say my best two items are hot sauce from this company out of Florida who puts our logo on the hot sauce they make (which is a solid hot sauce if I say so myself) and pens. Now our pens are not Mont Blanc but they also don’t cost .05. More like $2 a piece. We do a lot of signing of documents in our business.

Chep pallets sent out a bunch of miniature pallets one year and a corporate meeting. I saw those things all over the South east on managers desks for a solid decade after the event the handed them out at. At the home office it was almost a mandatory item for their desk. These were legit scaled down pallets built just like a regular pallet, they were cool I guess.

I would say that is outside the box. My favorite thing ever at a show was someone was giving out buckets with their logo, make carrying crap so easy and who couldn't use a bucket.

One company sent a confectioners box out to us for just about any event. Birthdays, Christmas, Random Tuesday and it was basically turtle ingredients in a cube that was 10X better than a turtle. Just really high quality box. I looked up ordering some, it was in their corporate hometown because they were that good but cost was prohibitive and I was getting boxes on the regular for free.

Pretty sure I've seen these. Models/miniatures relating to a specific trade always seem to stay around desks where I work.

I had a really nice ruler that someone gave me. It was metallic (aluminum?) and had the company name engraved. Lost it moving offices, but I always seems to be grabbing that thing for a straightedge.

Don't know if they exist, but customized Rubik's Cubes would be a pretty neat gift. Toys of almost any kind seem to have a long shelf life.

All of that said, my gift of choice for clients was Crown Royal--unless I knew there was some kind of alcohol-related problems in their history. Those got coffee baskets of various sorts.

The Crown Royal thing was good because it could be the "regular" stuff for minor clients and their high-end stuff for the whales. Crown Royal had a deal for a while where you could request a custom label directly from the company. It matched up with the label on their bottles, and it was designed for customizing bottles as gifts for weddings or whatever. I ordered a bunch of them with my company name and planned to use those--though I moved on to another industry before that ever happened.

Before moving to whiskey, I started with giving out wine from Natchez Winery--nothing special, just bottles of vino from a local source. Those seemed well-received.

Alright, just went through this myself. For the last 20 years I've always done koozies. No One throws out a Koozie and they make the rounds. NO shite, once saw a koozie for a biz I sold. 5 years later in Baton Rouge, the business was out of Charleston.

But I found the next big thing. Knock off solid quality leathermans. You'll likely need to buy a good bit to get them logo'd. But I picked up 10 at $23 each of the "Mossy Oak" brand. And I know damned well all they did was throw their name on it. Crazy part was, its pretty damned good compared to my leatherman I lose yearly.

here it is

I throw away alot of koozies, one can only have so many koozies and this is probably the most common item to receive. Hell even weddings give them out as party favors these days.

I'm on the receiving end of this quite often and I like a nice shirt. Not a T-shirt but I've been given a nice shirt a couple of times and I've like those the best.

Nice, quality apparel. Decent quality hats at the low end, polos mid range, and pullovers/jackets/fleece on the upper side.

As mentioned earlier, miniatures or 3D prints or some desktop sized version of your product. This is by far my favorite for both keepsake, and for advertising. I’ve used small plastic replica valves or connectors or flanges to explain shite or push for a product numerous times.

LED flashlights and battery packs are not too bad. I won’t throw them away, but not so much memorable. Kinda similar to USB flash drives of the past.

There’s probably some nice IT/Tech stuff you could leverage. SSDs/Hard Drives, nice phone cases, wireless chargers.

Consumables are good, but not as long lasting. Alcohol if permitted. Seasoning blend is great, but can be selective depending on the person/region. The pies thing or wine is good for Christmas or other seasonal times.

Most people loose koozies or they just "walk off". But I don't know anyone who says, "gotta throw out these koozies". But maybe we're just different, I'm on the boat, at a game, oyster roast etc prob 1/4 of the year. Thanks for the downvote by the way :)

If you'll practice reading comprehension. I suggested an off brand logo'd multi tool not a Koozie.

shite, I do. I throw away all the foamy ones immediately, then I keep the neoprene ones for a while. I settle on a few dozen favs and pitch the other 100 you get in a year. I do like the ones with the firm bottoms that are made of neoprene. I keep those.
