quote:

Petroteq shareholders are advised to take no action in respect of the Offer until Petroteq's Board of Directors (the "Board") has made a formal recommendation to shareholders.

Petroteq cautions its shareholders and potential investors that there can be no certainty that the Offer will be supported by the Board or that any other strategic transaction with any other person will be pursued by Petroteq or ultimately completed. The Board is reviewing the Offer and will make its formal recommendation in response to the Offer as required by applicable securities laws.

Consistent with its fiduciary duties, the Board will evaluate the Offer and Petroteq's options, including continuing to operate the business to drive shareholder value and potentially exploring possible alternative transactions.

The Board continues to believe Petroteq is well positioned to be an industry leader with its one of a kind oil sands extraction technology.

This may be a dumb question, but would current leadership be able to make the takeover more difficult by diluting shares? Is that a possible explanation for the stock price remaining much lower than the offer price?

Really late to the party here. And everytime that happens I get fricked, bad. Any insight on if it’s worth still getting in or should I sit this one out, much appreciated. And have granny’s mason jar canned fruits for you should you come by the Oconee Mountains to celebrate the depression.

these micro cap stocks are always risky, but if you believe $.60 offer is the low end, then there is a lot of room to grow here.

It is still a third of the offer price by the group trying to take control. They think it must be worth many times that or they wouldn’t take the risk. It’s a Penny stock, so it’s a risky play, but clearly the tech is legit if someone has secured $400 million+ to try a takeover.

Yes, but don’t follow my lead. I’m not knowledgeable enough to give advice. I’ve only got a little less than 15000 shares. Others here have much more invested.

Fidelity sent me the same email, I'd never seen anything like that so I called them. The lady I spoke with didn't have much knowledge of what it all meant, after being placed on hold several times she basically said the process that triggered the emails was a new process and that they would be sending out more information as they got it. I have several thousand shares at around .15, like others I can't understand why the price is at .22 to .23 if they have an offer for .60. Seems like it would be a no brainer to load up and get 2.5x your money min. What am I missing?

There's no way I'm the only one who read the attached offer and document?
