What do you guys think about the prospects for this stock?
Barstool has a HUGE following and is big into gambling.

Bought some yesterday already up 5%+
Like them or not Barstool continues to crush it, I believe their brand will attract a lot of the younger crowd especially when they get their sportsbooks up and running

It is interesting because no one brings up the fact that it is now in Barstool’s best interest to give you bad advice / guaranteed losers. Barstool was already compensated via the affiliate model with a share of the sportsbook’s profit per gambler (aka the better’s losses) they signed up. Now it will be interesting to see how their language changes with direct ownership.
RJ Bell got sued for this very same business model, it is just a repackaged scam. Go to Barstool for betting advice, book it through the Barstool-endorsed or now owned sports book, but don’t act like that ‘advice’ is intended to do anything but help you lose.

We’ll fade them and your making money

Lol if someone could give you guaranteed losers, that means they would put every casino/sportsbook out of business by betting the other side of their "guarantee"
Your statement is ridiculous

I grabbed some. Bad earnings but good guidance. Stocks still going up. Grabbed my shares at 28$. I'm in it for the long haul. Love the addition of Barstool. Sports betting will take off for their casino's.

That same company (PENN) owned the Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge. Wasnt a very well ran company.

The goldfish is their best gambler and I don't think that it knows about the potential conflict of interest.

Not sure what I want to do here. Bought some after the Barstool announcement expecting a bump. Up more than 21% since I bought on 1/29. Set a $35 price alert. Hit that today before closing at $34.90.

It may go back down a bit.
But Barstool hasn't even started with their promotions yet. Let them get that app up and going. I believe they said it would be up for football season.
I wouldn't sell unless you need the money.

Guessing some folks are going to have to update their projections.

Are you buying based on the Barstool relationship or something else?

Gambling is evil, bad for the soul of America, and only harms individuals, families and society. Gambling has no positive for anyone except those in control of gambling. Everyone else loses. Gambling is prostitution’s cousin.
I will never invest in a gambling company. Nor do I respect anyone willing to do so.

This letter is intended for receipt by our Indian friend, who is hoping to start a sports blogging site. His thread was deleted while I typed these words.
Dear Friend,
To be successful at anything, you must have passion. I believe God grants us passion when we discover our vocation and the needs of the world meet with the talents we have been given.
Talents alone are not enough to succeed. You must be disciplined. Patience proceeds discipline. Popularity and money, what many consider the markers of success, rarely come quickly, if at all. Do not be disheartened if what the world calls success never comes. Discipline allows us to remain devoted to our calling even when we doubt our mission and people call us a failure.
If you want to succeed you cannot be bothered by numbers and popularity. Having people spit on you and hurl insults and the grossest of thoughts and words at you cannot dissuade you from accomplishing your goal. Stay the course. If this indeed is your calling, and you are moving to make this world more in the image of God's Kingdom, it may be generations before the fruits of your labor sprout.
Find assurance and hope in the fact that a destitute, ancient man whose body was as good as dead and his 90 year old wife became the parents of a nation so expanse the sun never sets on it. Abraham and Sarah trusted God's promise and never lost faith. Nothing could shake them from following God. Their passion never wavered. Nor should yours.
Faith, Hope, and Love,
