Y’all! I’m growing conviction in ELVA!
Bought 565 shares today.

I think I’ve finally found my third high conviction growth name, which is all that I can handle with my smallish portfolio.

I’ve been watching it for a couple of months now, but this week’s Amazon contract was the final validation I needed.

I traded it after the news dropped from 10.96 to 11.66, but now that it’s 9.40s, I’m building long term!

Market cap is just 470mm, but 2026 revenue is 83mm.
Thats just 5.66x forward revenue on a thematically relevant company growing at 30%
In other words, about half as cheap as Ouster right now, AND they’re profitable!

Cash position stands at 20 million, but check this out:

The cash cushion is safer than it might look at first glance because the core business has reached a turning point in self-sustainability:

Positive operational cash flow:
The company is no longer burning cash on day-to-day operations. For the first six months of fiscal year 2026, it generated 4.3 million from operating activities, up from 3.2 million in the prior year.

Secondary liquidity lines:
Beyond the 20.4 million in unrestricted cash, Electrovaya maintains another 7.8 million available to draw from its working capital banking facilities.

Targeted project financing: Major expansion costs, specifically the heavy capital expenditures required for the Jamestown manufacturing facility, are heavily insulated by a dedicated 19.8 million loan from the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

Sustained profitability: The company has managed costs to secure five consecutive quarters of positive net income, which keeps operational pressure off the cash pile.

THIS IS A BATTERY COMPANY BY THE WAY. Traditionally for forklifts, but expanding to robotics and automation. Are you sensing a theme?!

Enter Amazon…

This is a similar setup to Amazon’s arrangement with OUST.

PUBLISHED ON : JULY 15, 2026
Electrovaya Announces Commercial Relationship with Amazon

quote:

Relationship expected to support continued deployment of Infinity Battery Technology across material handling operations and potential for expanded engagement around Electrovaya’s battery platforms for robotics and energy storage

Electrovaya Inc. (“Electrovaya” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: ELVA, TSX: ELVA), a leading lithium-ion battery technology and manufacturing company, today announced a commercial agreement and a warrant transaction with Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN). This relationship is expected to support the continued deployment of Infinity Battery Technology in material handling operations and potential expanded engagement on robotics and energy storage.

Electrovaya’s energy storage systems are based on the Infinity Technology which has a perfect field safety record, enables reduced environmental footprint and lower total cost of ownership compared to conventional lithium-ion technologies. Systems currently under development combine the Company’s proprietary Infinity lithium-ion technology with high-power architectures for data center, industrial and logistics applications with enhanced safety, cycle life, and rapid charging capability.

"Electrovaya's Infinity Battery Technology has demonstrated real performance in demanding material handling environments, and this agreement with Amazon reflects our confidence in the opportunity ahead. We look forward to building on that foundation in other industrial applications where safety and longevity are critical." — Raj DasGupta, Chief Executive Officer, Electrovaya

As part of the agreement, Amazon will receive warrants to purchase up to 13,880,345 common shares of Electrovaya, which become fully vested upon Amazon achieving cumulative future purchases of US$280 million, with a portion of the warrants vesting immediately upon execution of the agreement, and an exercise price based on the 5-day volume weighted average trading price (“VWAP”) immediately prior to the date of the agreement.

The reason that the stock is taking a hit after going from 7.87 to 13+ on the news is because 5.5 million of the warrants are immediately vested at $8.56. I’m not sure retail caught that right away…

When/if Amazon chooses to exercise them it will dilute share count by 5-10% but also provide 47.7 million in cash.

As mentioned, the rest will be vested if/when Amazon reaches 280 million dollars in orders over 10 years.
Not bad for a company expecting just 83mm in 2026 revenue.

The Jamestown, NY impact:

The 135,000 square foot gigafactory in Jamestown, New York, completely changes the business model for Electrovaya.

Vertical Integration: Right now, the company primarily builds battery modules and packs using imported components. Jamestown allows them to manufacture their own proprietary Infinity lithium-ion ceramic cells from scratch domestically.

Massive Capacity: It gives them the physical runway to scale up and meet the explosive demand from the Amazon deal without bottlenecking their existing clients.

Margin Expansion: Eliminating the middleman for cell manufacturing will dramatically lower their production costs and boost their gross margins.

Tax Incentives: Producing cells on United States soil qualifies the company for lucrative federal Inflation Reduction Act 45X production tax credits, alongside substantial state grants from New York.

FINANCING THE GIGAFACTORY
The beauty of the Jamestown buildout is that the capital expenditures are fully secured without dragging down the current cash balance or requiring a dilutive equity raise.

The project is financed through a 50.8 million dollar direct loan from the Export-Import Bank of the United States under their Make More in America initiative. The loan carries a six-year term and handles the heavy lifting for equipment, engineering, and setup costs.

To wrap a safety net around their day-to-day operations during construction, they also secured a 20 million dollar revolving credit line from the Bank of Montreal. The factory is fully funded, and commercial shipments are lined up to begin rolling out.

This company (ELVA) is nearly undiscovered. There is almost no presence on X or StockTwits, and even less on Reddit.
This is good, for us!

However, Raymond James is covering and just issued a huge PT increase on the AMZN news. There is very little Wall Street coverage outside of this.

CLIENTS AND USE CASES
Electrovaya historically served the material handling market, providing heavy-duty, long-lifecycle lithium-ion batteries for forklift fleets operated by over a dozen Fortune 100 companies and original equipment manufacturer partners like Toyota.

Its proprietary ceramic separator technology delivers superior safety and prevents fire propagation. Future use cases expand deeply into autonomous warehouse robotics, defense platforms, and utility-scale stationary energy storage.

MARKET ESTIMATES AND CAPTURE
Management outlines a total addressable market of 113.5 billion dollars, including 33.3 billion dollars in material handling and 70.9 billion dollars in electric commercial vehicles. Given current full-year revenue guidance exceeding 83 million dollars, the company currently captures less than 0.1 percent of its total market.

However, as the Jamestown gigafactory scales up production, capturing a realistic 1 to 2 percent of this heavy-duty industrial niche would lift revenues past 1 billion dollars.

If they can grow to 1bn revenue in 5-10 years then we’re talking about a 10-20x depending on what kind of multiple the market gives it.

I’ll be adding more based on the Jamestown factory speeding up the 30% CAGR, the increased exposure that they will receive as a robotics stock (a sector that will continue to grow in popularity), and the high likelihood of landing another large contract as their ability to scale increases.

What is return on your life’s remaining time, God willing, for posting 10pm + on a Friday night? Trade off worth it? Did you forego family / time with children to create and share investment info?

Presume yes.

Challenge me, if not.

Time value of your remaining life greater or less than future $ generated? ROI vs ROT (your remaining time)?

Proposal: Optimize your remaining life’s time and your values with ROI. Your future self won’t be disappointed.

I had a great day, I’m awake from my nicotine buzz, and this is fun. Not everyone is the same :)

Many will understand that the only personal time for parents of young kids is after 8 PM and before 6:30 AM.

So, what’s the problem?

Anticipated this response.

Calculations of financial investment risk and strategy vs observation of calculations of financial investment risk and strategy are not 2 peas in a pod.

All posting is not created equal. I’ve spent most of my Fri night listening to my Sat night playlist, including Led Zeppelin’s 10 years gone.

I recommend.

Here here. All of my play money is in HGRAF, NBIS, and OUST. A little heavier in HGRAF than I'd like to be.

And I don't believe the other poster meant anything bad, it did come across rather hypocritical though.

Sooo….as I was saying…
I really like the moat too.

THE DIRECT PUBLIC PEER
Flux Power Holdings (Flux) is the single closest direct pure-play public peer to Electrovaya. Like Electrovaya, Flux Power specializes specifically in converting industrial forklift fleets and material handling equipment from legacy lead-acid batteries over to lithium-ion technology.

THE ARCHITECTURAL DIFFERENCE
While they target the exact same customer base and use cases, their underlying business models are fundamentally different. Flux Power operates primarily as a battery pack assembler, meaning they purchase lithium-ion cells from third-party manufacturers and build them into customized industrial enclosures.

Electrovaya, by contrast, is vertically integrated. They own the intellectual property for their proprietary ceramic separator cell chemistry and are building the Jamestown facility to manufacture their own cells from the ground up, giving them a much stronger technological moat and higher gross margins.

THE FINANCIAL DIVERGENCE
The financial trajectories of the two companies have diverged dramatically. Electrovaya has scaled effectively, achieving a market capitalization of nearly 450 million dollars, positive net income, and a strong cash runway. Flux Power has struggled significantly with scale and profitability, with its market cap shrinking to under 20 million dollars alongside flatlining cash reserves and negative operating cash flows.

THE LEGACY PEERS
Outside of small-cap pure-plays, Electrovaya competes against massive legacy industrial battery conglomerates like EnerSys (Ens). While EnerSys dominates the global warehouse battery market, the vast majority of its multi-billion-dollar business is still tied to traditional lead-acid batteries. EnerSys is aggressively pushing into lithium-ion to protect its market share, but it lacks the nimble, pure-play focus and proprietary cell chemistry that Electrovaya brings to the high-demand automation niche.

Ok! I better get to bed before this fella recommends me for church discipline at a church that I don’t go to!

Yeah, I already did that, but I wouldn’t listen to Led Zeppelin.

I just don’t understand why you’d suggest another grown man to do something else with his time.
Unless, of course, you are deeply narcissistic.

Except not narcissistic at all. Like the opposite. Trust me.

Time-use trade off. Worth a valuation calculation unto itself. If you concluded “worth it”, the end. However, If you accept the challenge, perhaps “not the end”.

Life is short. Very.

Spending Fri nights creating investment value perhaps makes sense in your present context. Or not. ‘‘Tis the pernt.

Limited remaining life time is so valuable. Never forget that in your investment planning & strategy.

If there is anything I would do / think differently, it is this. Your life’s remaining time is greater than its potential $ earnings nearly 100% of the time.

The PV of time > the PV of future cash flows…most of the time — especially once final stage of financial independence is almost achieved…in my experience.

Sounds like you got this. Life is short. Salute!
