You should only need to tell it what credit or debit would be acceptable for a fill.
Based on those numbers, you would receive a credit.
Put it this way, if you chose a .10 credit then you’ll get an easy fill.
If you ask for $2 then you’re not going to get a fill.
Go for whatever credit is the mid range of both calls.
$60 strike contract price minus the $50 strike contract price.
Sounds like it’s .55 credit.

I think I understand it now. I will play around with a CLF call that I have for 6/18 at 13.50. It jumped up today. I would like to sell but I will be losing a little money at that strike price so I may roll it up to $16 or $17 for 8/18 and see if I can get a small credit so it becomes profitable instead of selling at a loss. At least my $50 Call on OUST would be a nice profit.

I will say one cool thing if you didn't know, this director is from LA!
Don't incriminate us.
We'll just buy more when she buys
Also, ask her about LUMN

Picked up a couple August call options:
$40c strike, 8/21 expiration.
Average cost $11.68, bought when share price was $43.33
Expecting some growth ahead of and following earnings report (currently expected to report next on 8/5 or 8/6)
Think today was a good time to strike to pick these up, let me know thoughts

I like it. I put in a lowball order that I hope hits today. I used a strike date of July, because earnings can be hard to gauge.

I think the best deal is the $50 2028 call, which is my main call.
I rolled some of them into $40 2027 calls today to free up a few thousand to throw into ADEA, which is my newest (dare I say) high conviction name.

I got this info from Stock Talk: Hybrid bonding will be the theme of late 2026 into 2027. And here's the easiest way to understand the thesis on ADEA:
As an IP and licensing company, ADEA is the "toll booth" for any semi who wants to commercialize hybrid bonding.

Seems to be dropping more on news of an AEVA offering, which is a close peer down 20% AH

Why are you buying 2028 calls? Are you calculating the delta vs the premium? What is your reasoning? The premium is 35% higher for the $50 2028s vs $45 2027s, and the delta is only 13% higher.
I know you have more time to with the 2028s (and a higher strike price/premium), but I was leaning more towards $45 2027s. Just wanting to know your reasoning - maybe I should look at it differently.
