I mean, yeah, when you consider the ATH we were at a few months ago, it's grim
but when you consider what we were at 2 years ago, the market has seen insane growth.
It will rebound. I don't know when or how low we will go, but it will rebound.
I suspect we won't see a big rebound until btc hits 5900 again and then climbs a bit. The whales want to see a floor.

I'm surprised the market is not reacting to the Lightning Network beta going live on mainnet. This is the central scaling solution for crypto's biggest asset

lightning network allows bitcoin transactions between two people using a middle man to secure the channel between those two. thus not needing to pay miner homage for each micro transaction.

Due in large part to shite coins. IMHO the market will continue to suffer until there is some serious trimming of the fat

The problem with this news event is that it only demonstrates that they are making progress on creating the capability of lightning network. It doesn’t mean it will be used any time soon. The fact that the market isn’t responding positively to what would normally produce unwarranted hype is also worrisome. I sold half of the BTC that I am managing for a family member and am on the edge of selling the rest. It looks more and more likely that we will retest the previous major low of 5.9k.
