Yeah but the fact that binance closed to new users makes this a bit of a maze to navigate the different exchanges and what coins they offer. I'd like to not join 3 different exchanges I haven't had the time to vet and research

I got tired of stressing myself out and just used "market" on binance. Long term I'm not going to sweat 1-2 cents.

ya, i saw the BTC rise about an hour ago and quickly switched as much as i could into it
