Now I'm scared. My bank verification was instant on Coinbase, no DL required or anything. I bought in (price locks in) but Coinbase says my ETH won't be "available" until next week for some reason?

Probably a good thing...forces weak-handed dumb dumbs like me to buy and hold for a bit instead of trying to flip it

I just linked it with my checking account and it took a matter of minutes. Then uploaded the DL for increased limits. All in all took about half an hour

If you have an affiliated bank, it should be instant

If you're like me and have someone like Iberia, you have to do the transaction verification

my bank account was instantly linked up to coinbase as well, but I too have to wait until the 30th before any of the ether I purchased shows up in my "wallet."

Well, at least it locked me in to the $173 price on Monday. I just can't do anything else until the 30th. Like the other poster said, it's not terrible because it will keep me from overreacting to stupid shite.

The coin base reviews are not good. Kind of a turnoff. I really want some, but seems very combursome.

i suppose the meta irony of early-investing in tech that the general population is ignorant of is early-investing in the means to buy/sell that tech

So it appears a lot of people's money is stuck in coinbase and they can not sell it or move it elsewhere, etc.

It's reasonable to assume that since the money is stuck there, that the price is inflated?

that's actually a good question. i don't know how this has affected the demand/price for ETH

however, on the flip side, if they can't sell, then how will they drive the price down?

Ya so many factors.

I do think there lies an relatively easy arbitrage opportunity on coinbase (215) to polo (198)

what do you trade on and what are the fees?

like i said yesterday, i'm waiting for a spike to 250 hopefully and a sell then. then waiting to buy when it does its daily decline. CB fees play a factor in that gamble, though.

I use poloniex. It's 0.15% per trade, essentially

But is it taking days/weeks to move ETH from polo to your wallet?

Idk the current time. Last time I went from coinbase to Polo, a couple weeks ago. It took 30 minutes roughly

Good question, but personally I don't think so. Reason being is that you would tend to believe all purchases are staggered somewhat. It's not like everyone's coins will be available to sell at one time, say 9:00 Fri am. For instance, I will have 3-4 different orders trickling in within the next 2-3 days (hopefully). I guess we will know for sure within that same 2-3 day period coming up, which would be when coins would be coming available for sell that were purchased around the post $100 run up.

I'd love to get in on this, but every exchange I go to, it seems like you need a degree in computer science to figure it out. I wanted to buy MAID coin (about $0.50 a coin right now). I gave up after an hour trying to figure it out.

to all you , now rich, bastards! Keep making that $$$ guys and gals.
