Short IBIT

Long VIX

Close IBIT puts probably tomorrow. Try to figure out when and how to plunge the profit into BTC. Probably LEAP calls. It’s still hard for me to purchase physical BTC at these levels given my cost basis. I hate averaging up.

The volatility trade hasn’t been as exciting lately, but I’m on the right side of it for tomorrow.

O my… XRP down 40% today. I’ve never seen a crash and burn like this before. Gotta laugh not to cry

Yeah I’m going to need more powder… so volatile. It went from 1.86 when I typed that message a few minutes ago to 2.31 rn. I will start buying at 2 and under and keep buying if it dips further

And I couldn’t keep up in my message with the bump afterwards

Went from 2.17 to 2.31 in less than a minute as I typed my last message

ETA a 50 cent drop and bounce in a matter of half an hour is insane

The whole day has been liquidation after liquidation, and I think we just hit the crescendo of the liquidations - at least until market opening tomorrow morning. Hope I'm wrong. Would love to be wrong.

ETA: Just looked up liquidation totals for today. $2.1 billion and climbing. Congrats, guys. That's a record. Almost $900 million in the past hour.

What an overreaction by the herd! Lemmings flying off the cliff worldwide over tariffs.

If Bitcoin is still way down at market open, actually if it even recovers some but is still under $100k, I will be putting a good bit of cash to work buying more BITX. What a great buying opportunity. I still have a couple of open trades now deep in the red with unrealized losses, but that won't stop me from capitalizing on opening more incremental trades.

Besides BTC and SOL, what should I be looking to pickup on this dip?

LINK starting to look attractive again but I wouldn’t recommend any alts until someone gets to a full bitcoin. Just my maxi view

It *feels* like this is a market overreaction and these tariffs are going to get walked back soon.

If the tariff shite goes on past Tuesday, I will be less optimistic.

I think this is one of the easiest trades I have seen in a while.

I'm going in and will post gains in a few days/weeks.

That's funny. The last two posts were exactly what I bought this morning.

Maybe so. But at least the “digestion” of the tariffs.
