I honestly don't think trump has thought about this as much as you guys have. Some crypto guys were like hey, we launch a coin with your name and likeness, you post about it, you'll probably make a ton of money. Trump was like sure, oh that's really something eh? Send me the post to make.
His crypto czar, and i really like him, but david sacks was a prominent Solana pumper just before ftx crashed.
Trump is just grifting, hes always been a grifter; he just grifts right in your face rather than being subtle like most politicians. He's not the best of us, he's just magnitudes better than the other guys.

I noticed link didn’t dip as much as other alts yesterday.

He has said he is but his actions have spoken to the contrary. I’d argue him releasing a meme coin with his name on it a couple days before his inauguration was making a mockery of crypto. If you are a believer in the legitimacy of crypto, this shite doesn’t help anything. Look not at what has been said but what has been done.

I used to accumulate on dips. Now I just hold actual Bitcoin, but I make a lot more in my retirement accounts buying BITX on dips with cash and then sell it on the recovery, recovering my original cash and putting the gains in BITO and hold BITO. Requires patience and ice in veins at times, but very profitable after I got the hang of it. Still risky though and not for everyone.

I am doing the same now, except gains go to FBTC. Although there has been days when one can get rich quick with BITX, I've had to learn that cutting losses and winning some small gains per day is okay as well.
