So what's everyone thinking right now on the bottom?

Also, is coin base shite now? I haven't used a crypto service in years so I'm lost now.

This current price area feels like when BTC dropped from $20k to $6k. It bounced around there for 9 months until everyone was convinced that was bedrock support..... Then it dropped below it

Historically, the price levels out and then starts to rise again about 12 months before next halving

That's with optimal macro circumstances. Given the state of the US and global economies and the potential looming recession, I think this bear market is going to be ugly and long.

even with that being the case, we still believe it will eventually recover to new ATHs right?

Sure. It will take a year or two. The market still has plenty of room to drop. Plan accordingly.

Absolutely. It's a great time to keep buying and load up on cheap blue chips while it lasts

And that's fine, I've lived through years-long bear cycles in crypto before ha.

This is the type of market where people make life changing money. Most people won't have the balls to enter it, but the ones that do will have their families set for life.

I guess I'll hop on the train again too. I'm so damn skittish though.

It'll probably go down more in the short term, but I have nothing but faith in the underlying tech and things being built. It will recover.

this is the type of market where people buy a whole bitcoin for $19,990, and then panic sell it for $12k in 9 months

I'll agree with this.

The main driver for Bitcoin always reaching new all-time highs is... because it always has before.

Bitcoin wasn't even around during the crash and subsequent recession of 2008.. Might not be best to use the free-money past to predict the no-money future

Couldn’t agree more.

And those who are prepared to scoop it up for $12k will reach rewards

Anyone have thoughts on buying The Greystone BTC Trust ETF rather than Bitcoin? Thinking of purchasing it in my Roth if prices drop a bit more.

Hell no! It only goes down. You can't pull your Bitcoin out. Not your keys, not your coins. Not many crypto investors want to touch it.
