With BTC, these are consolidations and "whipsaw" actions closely associated with momentum or trend trading. I trend trade a basket of commodities futures using MDA crossovers to position long or short, and the price action with BTC and ETH is similar but with higher beta. Willy Woo and Plan B obviously use a different set of metrics with BTC, but in essence they are attempting to predict the trend or momentum using their on-chain analysis. Its not perfect, but its math/statistics based and provides upside compared to just reading articles, press releases and project roadmaps and thinking you're an investing savant.
Another approach - which I find to be more true to the concept of momentum/trend trading on price - is to use a sentiment instrument like VADER to empirically score sentiment and weight your investment on how strong your sentiment score is negatively or positively.
I use TwitterScraper, LangDetect, and VADER to score sentiment on a daily 24 hour lag. The inputs are a lexicon of keywords (29 in total) that forms the dataset. VADER then scores sentiment at +5 to -5, then its statistically normalized to +1 to -1 to eliminate noise.
The secret sauce is the lexicon of keywords, but also there is a window of four days from (X) days of the sentiment score where sentiment becomes a statistically significant, contra-indicator of price action (e.g., negative sentiment = positive price action, positive sentiment = negative price action). This approach isn't perfect either, but it provides much greater upside than doing nothing at all, or going on gut-feel.

Can you look at twitter pages and see who the first followers were? I’m sure there’s some random who gets the inside scoop early often.
Like is there a way to see first few hundred followers of a number of successful launches, then you can try to find a pattern, then follow that group to get ahead.

Anyone in indexes (e.g. DefiPulse Index, Metaverse Index)? I think these concepts will become extremely popular as they’ll give the average investor exposure to a basket of crypto, similar to an ETF. They have inclusion criteria to focus on legit projects, thus weeding out meme or shite coins.

You catch in bond at 20% last night? They launched a new mSol bond, I wasn’t quick enough and only got 10.5%. Staking was at 8%.
I’m like double staking only rate on increasing my stack.

Check out this low market cap metaverse play: RFOX
Redfox labs website
Stake on redfox.finance page.
RedFox has a few metaverse projects set to launch and have slidden under the radar while other's have 7x'd the past 90 days.
Discord Link
Their discord and twitter have a bunch of info on them.
They are close to open beta.
I don't know a ton about how all this works, but they have store fronts where you can customize your property among many other metaverse things.
You guys probably know more about the metaverse then me. I'm just bringing a low market cap metaverse play to the board that should gain rapidly due to being cheaper than the others in this space.

It peaked hard and fast and cratered hard and fast
Their stated goal didn’t appeal to me and it sounded very centralized
