Cool. How can we go about getting the other 6 things on my list? I may even get a Twitter acct., and start a barrage of tweets at Elon, making him say something else.

I sold my SHIB this morning, making 3 Benjamins, and am waiting to pounce again.

Their thought is there will be a huge burn rate. I know it may have no utility, but it’s up 272% this week, 300% for the no ETH and 26.9 million percent for the year. It may be useless, but as Doge showed us, that doesn’t mean it is worthless.

Usually when the celebrities arrive the run is over.

Question I was thinking about this weekend. What will be the motivation to these large mining operations to keep going once all BTC has been mined? How do they continue generating revenue to be profitable? As much research as I’ve done I’ve never heard any convo about this.

Once all BTC is mined, mining blocks will simply generate revenue in the form of the transaction fees without any additional block reward

That seems like alot of infrastructure for some minimal profit though

You can also generate revenue loaning out the mined BTC.

But for fees? Not sure how lightning works and how that plays a part but it makes transaction fees minimal.

Plus people are talking about keeping their btc and never moving it so how many transactions would there even be?

yea lightning changes things quite a bit

but by that time if bitcoin is a success it will be a matter of national security to maintain the network

a successful bitcoin likely means most fiats going away.

yep

and technically Lightning eventually has to settle with the base layer, but I’m banking on the world subsidizing the BTC miners because it will just be that important to keep the network secure
