Eth/uni seem to have pumped good. I guess this stole the bnb/cake thunder.

A few days shy of 50k btc, plan B may still unfold.

Just checking in on the news from today. So an almost-dead dinosaur senator from Bama blocked the amendment because he wanted to increase an already massively bloated defense budget? That dude sucks.

He basically wanted a 50 billion dollar bribe to I presume Redstone Arsenal in order to pass a completely unrelated amendment.

I used to like Shelby but no way I’m voting for him again if his old arse is even running

His former chief of staff and handpicked successor immediately went into CYA mode on Twitter.

Make sure you email and say you aren't voting for his chief of staff. (she's the one pegged to take his spot iirc)

BTC peaked on COIN IPO. Wonder if these highly anticipated COIN Q2 earnings will be a liquidity suck / sell the news like the April IPO or a spark to continue this rally.

COIN rallying and GBTC discount narrowing have improved the optics of crypto from an institutional perspective over the last month.

A bit off topic but I was curious: What happens to literal GOLD miners. Do they pay capital gains on the discovery?

I found this article which claims that "tax was due immediately based on the estimated value"

Went on to describe Cesarini v. United States in which a couple found $5,000 in an old piano they purchased and the IRS won forcing them to list it as income and pay applicable taxes.

Interesting stuff.

Our tax laws suck.

So a cross chain protocol gets hacked less than a week after Chainlink announces Link nodes will secure it’s Cross Chain Interoperability Protocol. This is quite the timeline.
