Im not entirely convinced we test 30k before 40k yet. Btc rejected 35k yesterday. If btc doesn’t fall below 35k today, it may not again before 40k.

Does anyone know a way to get price alerts for say, etherium? I am using BlockFi now for my etherium buys. I have Coinbase and voyager apps. It would be cool if I could get a notification (hopefully text) if etherium dropped below 2000

So I’m thinking we’re at an inflection point soon. Both eth and btc have possible “death crosses” for the moving averages on the charts.
Either we are at the bottom of this “minor setback” and the death cross never happens, or the “death cross” happens and the self-fulfilling prophecy of TA takes effect.

Isn’t the death cross supposed to be a lagging indicator though, more so than a predictive indicator?

Yes, but retail and corporate alike use it. Markets travel in sine waves and a death cross signifies you haven’t quite reached the bottom yet, but you’re close.
It’s one of the classic instances where TA is infact self-fulfilling prophecy. You see death cross, you know everyone is going to sell because it’s gonna dip, so everyone sells and causes a dip.

A red Sunday here would be a pretty bad sign, so need to be hoping for a turn around if you’re a “btc 100k” guy.
