No, I’m lame. They’re just sitting on FTX doing nothing. I’m not intending to long hodl any alts so the tokens that aren’t on Celsius or BlockFi just sit on exchanges to reduce wallet count.

Do you really think flippening is anything other than a meme on the near term?

Everyone was saying flippening 4 years ago and here we are with the almost exact same course.

The fact that one person has this much influence on bitcoin is the reason i'm out. Yea the USD might have inflation but bitcoin is volatile AF

Yeah I really think all 3 things I listed happen in the next couple months but I’m probably just retarded

I’d be moving about everything to a mix of BTC and USD if it does happen because that wouldn’t be a crypto market I’d want to be overexposed to

I was almost certain $1 doge would happen but I don’t think it will unless the big two rebound.

If doge goes $1 despite btc and eth dumping, then the market is even more irrational than even I predicted

You just made an excellent point but unintentionally.

The main use case for Bitcoin is as a store of value.

It is the first one. It’s been around for 10 years. It doesn’t need any updating to fulfill this purpose. It’s a “completed” project. It’s use case isn’t even that complicated.

And yet, it isn’t able to accomplish its goal just yet. It’s getting there, but not yet.

If granddaddy Bitcoin isn’t able to truly function as a store of value and is still essentially speculative, how can any other coin on the market be anything else anytime soon?

The crypto space will be immature for years.

Yes, I expect big things from BCH in the 1-2 years.

So is it really illiquid? Or does it require something similar to an ISDA?

LedgerX owners have a prime brokerage. LedgerPrime. It’s liquid enough for what I do. You could construct something similar on CME with options.

2020 showed many the need for something like Bitcoin. In many ways it’s Year 0 for the institutional side of things and honestly for a lot of the retail side

Is there any literature on this? I think it would be smart to get ahead of the crowd on crypto vol. How did you learn it? Are they priced with black scholes like options on traditional financial assets?

Signs of life this evening.

BTC tested 44k and didn't break, seems like a very good thing to me. Guess we'll see how it does overnight.

One thing I’ve noticed over 2 months of trading is Sundays can be bear. I could be wrong though.
