NTY. Anyone buy options on the crypto? I've started to do this. If you're long, the contract settle in BTC (as an example), and if you're short, they settle in USD. I'm playing around on LedgerX before I graduate to full BTC contracts and options on contracts (5 BTC per contract).

both: BTC and alt coins. It seems that Alt coins generally trend in the same direction as BTC over time. Short term I've seen some huge moon shoots that I wish I were apart of but wasn't.

For the Alt Coins, I like a lot of them long term.

Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), Stellar-Lumens (XLM), Tezos (XTZ), Digibyte(DGB) are just a few that I've looked into.

I particularly like the speed and low transaction cost of XLM, DGB, and XTZ. If I had to pick a favorite, it may be Tezos (XTZ)? because it is fairly fast, low transaction cost, can be moved to cold storage and staked safely with a bunch of interest.

I plan on looking into others over time because there are so many projects that will likely catch on and many others that may fade away.

You can’t go wrong with dollar cost averaging. I buy a little every single day.

Explain this to me like I'm a child. I understand the overall concept I guess, like if you spend $20 on something for 5 days your average cost may be lower than had you just had a one time purchase of $100, but why does that matter? Is this only relevant for people wanting to make short term trades so they can know when to sell for a profit? Would this matter at all to long term holders?

All I have is BTC, LINK, XTZ

I buy BTC at 75% and LINK at 25% weekly with extra money that I am not putting in my 401k or Roth. I probably need to get some ETH to add a 4th product.

It removes the psychology of trying to time the market and allows you a potential lower entry point than if you put it all in at once.

Plus, it allows you to spread out your investments in a more predictable manner.

I combine DCA with investing heavy during big dips, and it has helped me feel very at peace with all of my investments.

it seems like with the amounts that I buy for the difference in fees is a few bucks which is irrelevant.

it might not mean that much now, but $3.50 might mean $100,000 20 years from now.... maybe.

Here are a few defi non kyc options on ethereum that I have tried. They tend to be a touch more expensive but provide anonymity

hegic - eth /wBTC, can buy very large qtys if you want, the pool is deep, can resell your option on hetoro

Whiteheart is launching soon and will provide auto 30 day price protection when you buy so if the value drops you are reimbursed for difference.

Hetoro is a pretty good for on chain analysis.

You can also look at a few dune analytics dashboards for more data on hegic or others.

I tried synlev too but it’s crashed and the dev is MIA.
