What stocks do I buy to make a million dollars off of this?

A million dollars of GOOG and hope it trades sideways.

If the total trade between the United Kingdom and the USA was $148.0 billion in 2024 how in the hell is this trade deal going to save $280 billion a year? Make it make sense.
Okay, you got me. It was a chyron I saw on TV this morning (probably Fox Business). Unless I saw it wrong, maybe it was talking about overall potential economic impact or the potential new market available to US firms. I can't find the reference online, so you got me. Thanks for the gentle chiding.

Just reading the comments in the WSJ about the deal with UK shows how much TDS bakes the brains of its victims. There is no deal that will allow any praise for Trump and his team. As he said himself, if he cured cancer they would sit on their hands and fume.

Its incredible. This board will be the worst with all the investor geniuses (bitcoin lulz)

They will all claim he caved and its a terrible deal Orange Bad!

So agreeing to freeze tariffs temporarily for 90 days and to meet again in a week or two is your "spike the football" deal??

Pointless “deal”. It’s exactly what I said would happen a month or so ago.

Trump fricks with the economy and the usual suspects cheer when it rebounds after he quits fricking with it.

Will he do something else? Who knows, other than his family and preferred donors?

No, there wasn;t. They chose to kick the can down the road for another 90 days. Take Trump's dick out of your mouth. It's clouding your judgement (or lack of).

It's really sad that you crave approval so much from anonymous strangers on an internet message board.

I believe psychiatrists call someone who does that a narcissist and validation seeker.

The mental condition is often caused by someone who has repeatedly failed in life so many times they need to make themselves feel successful about something or they never felt loved as a child growing up.

EDIT: Reading further about persons with narcissism, they have higher than average occurrences of severe depression and suicide. If your condition gets that severe, please seek help.

We were up a bit more than that, but GLD and our pharmas dragged. It's still unbelievable seeing that sort of one day gain in the accounts though.

Meh, 45% of my Schwab accounts are in cash (money market) or individual t-bills.

Those tend to limit portfolio increases on big up days and pull backs on big down days.
