I thought we were good with football-field-sized data centers with semi-truck-sized reactors with closed-loop water cooling systems.
Why do they want my front yard now?

Twitter embeds should be removed from this site 99% are ai slop and untrue

twitter embed was the worst idea the owners of this site have ever had. Every board is polluted with it except maybe food and drink. And people don’t think twice about spreading it around

I'm holding out until Elon starting putting them in space.

That might get baked into a spec home but there’s no chance a homeowner will choose to pay for that.
I think you'll be surprised at the number of people will see this as an opportunity to finally afford a home. Some people will see that $1,000 a month and just assume that entire amount can go to their monthly payments, which would let them "afford" an extra ~$160k

How do you morons not see the community notes on these tweets?
That community note doesn't make much sense. Let them install equipment in my home, take up space, more wiring, more noise, more workload on my AC unit, maintenance visits, potential privacy risk, and pay them $150 a month, so maybe save a few bucks a month on utilities when all is said and done? Then they have to come tear it all out when they decide it wasn't a good plan. No thanks from me.

How did you calculate the 2k?

if this was true, they should offer to the retired / elderly first. that income would be extremely beneficial to our retirement system.
