Good call. Who is the audience for these games, out of curiosity. Is it the same demographic that used Nintendo in the 90s?

I think there are a lot of 20-30 somethings who played Pokemon when they were kids who are getting into this game, along with the current generation of kids. To my knowledge, Pokemon hasn't gone "out of style" with young gamers since it first became a craze back in the 90's.

After a 6% gain yesterday it's up 9% this morning. Pokemon Go lit a fire under this one.

Thanks! Hopefully this Pokemon Go run up is just a taste of things to come. I could sell now and capture a decent profit but I think this could be headed to near $30 within a year.

It got a shout out on CNBC World yesterday morning. I thought about this thread when I heard it mentioned positively.

Thanks, but honestly I did not know Pokemon Go was being released so soon. I thought there were a couple other games that were next up to be released and Pokemon Go was still in its testing phase for the foreseeable future. It's release caught me by surprise, but it's no surprise to me Nintendo nailed it. Seems like mobile game format is set up for Nintendo to hit it out of the park time and again.

Holy shite Nintendo stock is currently up another 22% in Japan today after gaining ~17.5% last week after Pokemon Go was released.

Keep in mind that Abe's party won a clear majority without coalition which is the primary driver.

Abe announced a massive stimulus package that sent the entire Nikkei up some 5% today.

What exactly is Nintendo's revenue from Pokemon Go coming from? Licensing?

The game was developed by Google's subsidiary.

I assume it's licensing. Pokemon brings a big audience.

It's up over 45% for the day right now and sitting at $30.25. I bought in at $17.85... when do I sell?!

I want to hang on b/c I think there will be even more success for Nintendo in mobile apps, consoles/software, licensing deals, and movies, but damn it's hard not to just walk away with a 69% return.

This thing is blowing up. Nice job. Is anyone else jumping in at this point?

Tried jumping in this morning but opened too high. I think it's a bit risky at this point to get in. Lots of speculation. It's doubled in price in a week.

I would do a lot of work looking into what percentage of revenues are international

The yen is going to take a pounding with Abe's economic policies. Their sensitivity to interest rates will be a big deal

Conversely, if they have mostly domestic workers but foreign revenue, they theoretically could have a big boon decreasing expenses due to FX and maintaining revenue

After peaking at $30.15 this morning it pulled back to $27.76. I bet there will be some more pull back as the day goes on and people want to capture profits. I'd bet this settles around $25 at the end of the day.

I think this baby can get to $35 within a year and that's where I'm setting my sell order.

Thank you I will try to research that.
