I got out of a bad situation and into a sweet 11/21 call. Thanks for taking your time to help me man!
I love you guys!

So I made some money off a 11/21 call that I bought today. What do I do next?
I think tomorrow’s gonna be another great day!!

I would ride that damn thing up and expect to triple money…you can see my plays. But I would never tell someone else what they should or shouldn’t do with their own money.

1. **10/31 $130c**: 100 contracts @ $12 - Cost = 100 × $12 × 100 = $120,000
So let me get this. The cost of each contract is $1200 and if the price gets over $142 before expiration date you get to make a profit? So when you exercise the option, you get the net proceeds or do you have to actually buy the stock at the strike price and then sell it at the current price? Sorry all this is new to me but interesting.

I understand, but I’m looking for guidance! I don’t hold you responsible!
I will ride that SOB like the way Mrs. Beerstud is gonna ride Mr. Beerstud when I show her Nibius made us some serious money!

There is a LOT to unpack on this question. I don’t want to get into the intricacies of trading options before you have a full understanding of them. Not ignoring your question, just too many variables of how to answer with someone who doesn’t understand them. Just keep learning and educating yourself, and whether it is with Nebius or another company in the future for you, pray you have good fortune and profits.

Just saying openly what I’m doing….not directly to you. The lines are there to read between

Do what I did dude. Buy some cheap arse $20 option with full intention of losing your money. Find a cheap stock and commit. It’s a great way to start!

Option contracts have a dollar amount attached to them (premium) and that value goes up and down based on the underlying stock price.
So for example, if he bought for $1200 today and the contracts starts trading for $1300 tomorrow due to favorable movement, he can sell and make the profit. Even if the expiration date is a month out.
High delta and low theta contracts vary in price wildly if the underlying is volatile.
If he holds till expiration and has a $140 strike and the underlying is $160 , then yes, he has the option to exercise to buy 100 shares at $140

I dipped my toes into options on Tuesday and bought 11/21 $130c for 12.97 and a 1/15/27 160c for $34.21 and had some general questions
If the price rips up tomorrow/next week would you sell the 11/21 or hold through earnings if you expect another rip up after that? Do you look to make a certain % return on options and sell or hold if you think there will be another price pop before expiry? Is that a high premium for the leap or is that about what you can expect for those?
Thanks and thanks to bb88, it, and all other contributors. I am not ot baller but I have tripled my retirement mostly due to this thread

Don’t share this much cause percentages are to each their own….but you can see the difference of what the stock did vs my options today when I traded back up…..

I called it an “all in” moment two days ago. This is why you buy the dip.

Is NBIS still a buy at current price? Where is the next anticipated consolidation point?
