MVIS rumored partnership with Microsoft.

Rumors are swirling they may have a partnership with Microsoft for a microchip used in the new Xbox. The stock has been strong all week... I know it’s most likely a pump and dump before earning on the 7th but could be a good short term money maker. What do you all think?

I’m in at .4268 on MVIS. saw a lot of that speculation too. Hoping for a nice run next week.

I feel you with the UAVS. I was about to sell then FOMO said let it ride. Damn if I will let FOMO take over in that position again.

Thankfully I didn’t get absolutely crushed like others, but it’s a lesson learned for sure.

I was as dumb as you get with UAVS. Bought in at 3.71 right before the call.
Bought in for MVIS at the same time at .33.
Lost a lot more off UAVS than I’ve made with MVIS.
We holding through next week?

I originally got in at 2.18 and was super dumb not at least setting a stop limit.
I bought again yesterday morning at like 3.66. When it nosedived and then settled I got back in at like 1.56 to average down.
I figure no real bad news came out during the call. It was already known the CEO was stepping down and they were looking for a replacement. I think the run just got real got and heavy counting everything on the “deal.” When no one heard the words Amazon they all ran for the hills. But to me, they just hired a new ceo. They haven’t announced who the “major e-commerce” partner is, and they still have some killer drones/software. So i never sold yet. I figure why now since it’s still holding around 1.2/1.3. I might as well see who this partner is first before taking a bath.

Yeah, I bought this turd too high a few years ago. Should’ve taken my smaller losses a long time ago. Down so big I will hope this partnership happens and get out.

If it s a chip that is being used in the new Xbox wouldn't it already have shown up in the previous earnings report... Plus quick google shows that on April 6th, they were exploring sale options etc... Probably more likely chapter 11.
MSFT would have already needed the parts on hand to produce the PCB that goes into the new Xbox at this point in the cycle. If they are trying to build a million of these by Christmas they should already be knee deep in production. Thus the probably need to procure the parts many months ago, as the lead time to build so many would have been possibly back into last year.
My point maybe moot if the chip goes into an accessory that won't be included in the initial sale.

You are correct. It’s not part of the Xbox specs. I looked more into the rumor last night and it’s has to do with Hololens/VR. Microsoft has a scheduled demo May 7th at 2PM. I am not saying that there is for sure collaboration but the is going to be some hype to buy before May 7th.

There is money to be made given the interest/wild speculation but i can't help but laugh at the lengths people are going to connect dots to Microsoft

Yup me too!! Except I will be selling the news. Just trying to figure out if I want to sell before the demo or the Microvison release. Hopefully, it’s a nice enough run up so I can take my profits and leave some in through the news just in case it pans out.
