He is a lot smarter than I am so this is concerning…but he also gets his timing wrong a lot.

Not sure about that, but his claim that he "taught the Goldman mortgage desk" about using CDS to short mortgage bonds is...inane.
Some of the best parts of what he wrote in Money Ball and The Blind Side were pure fabrications.
I suspect the same is true of The Big Short.
