Just got a cold-call from a guy at Merrill Lynch and his voicemail said his group has some Facebook shares to sell and he's wondering if I'm interested.
Red flag, or is this totally normal on an IPO?

Yeah, I thought the voicemail was fairly unprofessional too. He said something like "we think this stock is pretty popular."

Tell him you'll buy it from him at 38 and he covers the difference between that and the price it actually clears at and you're in.

Facebook is going to go bust.
I would not tuch it for anything more than 30.
There is some growing motiviation for people to cancel/suspend their membership once the IPO is issued.
I have a facebook, I use it to keep up with friends. I have never bought naythign on it, offer very limited information, stay away from advertising links.
Once somethign better comes along I will dump it. Thinking heavily about trimming alot of my "friends" on there. Highly doubt I will ever see any of those people again.

Why 30? 100B is too much but 80B you're cool with? Sentence 3 must be some kind of joke I don't get.

Just came across my Twitter from Bloomberg :
BN reporting $FB goes out at $38 a share. That's 26x sales, 107x P/E. Zoinks.

Wouldn't touch that shite with Athanatos' pole.
I don't get it. This is going to be a very amusing and expensive lesson for the common man.

I got some people calling me upset cause they can't get in on the IPO. When you only have $1k to your name you are not getting it. Wait till it starts trading to waste my time.

In the words of the Internet:

What is the min you will take? I already have 4K going in it, but I would be willing to dump another 5 in it somewhere else if I can.
