I’ll take some short-term uncertainty over a slow bleed out into economic oblivion, thanks.

I don’t understand how a drop in rates will happen anytime soon. Seems inflation has still been an issue and the tariffs are going to make it worse.

From my understanding, while tariffs will increase prices, it’s not inflationary. That along with a drop in the workforce because of governmental layoffs and deportations will lead to an economic slowdown. The feds only lever to combat that is QE. I could be wrong, but that’s my understanding of how/why the feds would drop rates.

The middle class has a lot of money wrapped up in Wall Street. You know, things like retirement accounts.

Let's see where we close, if markets can't reclaim ~563 on SPY by EOD or tomorrow morning, I will be concerned that a larger crash is in progress.

No I made a good bit of money during Bidens 4 years. I gave about 15% of that away during the first month or so of Trumps term.

Thats not a political statement its a fact.

A potential hot war with Iran will send markets down 20% in a week. Oil to 100+ too.

try selling 7-21 DTE. Delta around .15 - .25. Think of what you would be comfortable with selling at what price for in case they close ITM. Once you get good at swing trading, you can sell ATM calls.
