lsusports, one of my team members email the coach to ask about the simulation and she told him that it is to be expected. They are trying to reinforce that the Blue Ocean strategy is better than Red.

For MKT 701 we ran all three rounds of simulation last night, I think the breakdown is supposed to be 100 points peer review, 100 points simulation(lost is 80% as mention before based on standard deviation) and then 100 points for the quizzes and strategy briefs.
For MADM 701 the inconsistency is really getting old. The week 1 assignment in wiley had no time limit, week 2 had a time limit of 25 minutes and now week 3 has a time limit of 15 minutes for 15 questions. All of these changes without even a single email to address it. Some of the questions last week are fairly long and by the time you read through them and the answer choices you will hardly have time to think about your answer with only having one minute per question. Seems like she is trying to lower our scores.

For the MADM 701 assignment this week, it took me by surprise as well. When I saw 15 min, I figured there would be less questions. By the time I thought about and answered question 1, I was down 2 minutes. I am very thankful I have a great academic coach that grades my forums fairly and answers any questions with clear answers.

I haven't received my week 2 discussion grade yet. I'm hoping to pull some high As on the discussions. That is the only chance I have to get an A in the class.

Glad you are having luck with your coach. I emailed mine earlier in the week and the reply was basically email me again Thursday because I am not going to remember to respond. They have graded fairly tough on the first two discussion forums. I definitely need to start pulling high A's to try and keep the 4.0

I am happy to see that there is a consensus of frustration in this course as it is my first course of the program (paired with BADM701). I was hoping I was not in for the next 12 months being this confusing.

No, your better days are definitely ahead of you. This is class 9 and 10 for me(MADM 701 and MKT 701) and these have by far been the most frustrating.

i got 100 on week 2 discussion.... no idea how based on how things we graded last week..... hopefully this keeps up. feedback was super brief

I made a 98 on week 2 discussion (stated capitalization errors in my Reference) and a 92 on my Week 3 Exam.
Headed in the right direction but that 0 on the assignment may be the dagger. I emailed her but she has not responded.

I read the chapters 3 times. I didn't bother with the videos on Wiley plus or the worthless, ameturish PowerPoint slides she has.
Honestly, I was lucky to guess right a few times. I was confident of 86%. The rest I was able to narrow down to 2 answer choices.

Awesome job!! I got a 98 and capitalization in my references was my comment also! I haven't take the exam yet. I'm afraid of it because of all the theories.

Remember the names of the people who created which theory. It came up several times.

I did. While I understand her not wanting to address rude and crude individuals, I don't understand her sending out a mass email about it. Handle it with those involved and move on.

Haha, terrible timing. Congrats on your week 2 discussion and week 3 exam grade. I made an 88 on week 2 discussion and 84 on week 3 exam. Hopefully we can continue to improve
