Chase bank no longer has coin machines

I am too lazy to bag them. I am too stupid to know what to do with them.

Are their coin machines 'for hire'? If so, where dey at?

TIA

Albertson's stores have coin counting machines that charge the customer a percentage of the coins counted.

Your Chase does not allow you to bring them in in a bag they provide? Mine does, get a deposit a couple of days later.

Isn't the fee 8% of the coins?

Just roll them. It's sort of fun

You'd lose like 9-10% using a coinstar machine at one of the grocery stores. I would bring mine in to Capital One and get them counter when I had a bunch laying around. They do it free if you have an account so find a friend to do it for you.

Nice, I didn't realize they added this option. Redeeming it for an Amazon gift card would be convenient, although there are many other options in that link.

I have no idea, I've never used it. I've just seen people standing at the machine dumping bags of coins into it.

But even if it's 8%, so what? On $50 of coins that's four bucks. Totally worth it to not have to count and roll that many coins.

Financial institutions can longer accept any rolled coins. Rolling coins is total waste of time.

When did that happen? I have seen them reject loose change but I've never had a problem with rolled coins.

CapOne accepts unrolled coins for deposit into an account. Takes 2-3 days, but there is no fee. I'd rather hand the teller a bag of coins and see it appear in my account than pay 8% and have to stand in the grocery store with a sack of money.

Back when the slot machines actually used coins and not paper tickets, I would bring my jug to the casino and they would run it through the big industrial sorters and counters and pay you back cash, of course i would usually get the comment " I am sorry sir , but we dont have dime machines" when they would hand me back my cash and a cup full of dimes

Albertsons is good, but no surprise that the Coinstars at Walmart lack the Amazon option.
