I bought in too late and have never been in the green on LVVV. I'd like some signs of hope.

LVVV is a US stock so I wouldn't expect it to act like Canadian stocks where it is legal now.

TigrrrDad, at what point are you going to sell LVVV and consider it a success? .08, .20, 1.00, $50? Hold 100,000 shares for X years then sell at whatever it is?

The past 50,000 shares I bought were supposed to be for that, and I still can’t convince myself to let them go. Maybe it’s pyschological because my teenage kid has 250K shares and I only have 200K.

It was tough to see up 60% and NOT sell. Because today it went below what my WAP, it's a small amount to add 10k more shares. I want to get to a few hundred thousand shares. If I get a decent bonus from work, I may use all of it on LVVV as long as it remains at it's current levels.

If I just watched my spending for a month, I could easily double my stance in shares.

Ideally I’d like to sell 1/4 at 0.25, 1/4 at 1.00, and hold 1/2 until 2.00. When these stocks run, they tend to run pretty quickly though. I wouldn’t sell when I think it’s on a steady rise - probably just set some stop-losees on the way up. But I’d be ecstatic at those price points. I’d like to get enough shares to have 100,000 shares set aside for the real long haul though ( several years).

LiveWire Ergogenics to Up-List to OTCQB; Company Enters Next Stage of Development

quote:

Up-listing to the OTCQB gives investors an exchange-comparable information experience, with convenient trading through their preferred broker or financial adviser, transparent pricing with real-time quotes, and trusted disclosure. To be eligible for this higher-tier trading platform, companies must be current in their reporting and undergo a quarterly review and rigorous annual auditing and management certification process by an SEC certified auditing firm.

LiveWire Ergogenics’s auditors have audited and approved the Company’s financial reports for the last two years and the Company has filed these audited reports on OTC and at the same time submitted its application for uplisting to the OTCQB. The approval process and compliance review can take up to 3-4 weeks after submission of the application.

LiveWire has been gathering a wide range of expertise in the acquisition and management of licensed cannabis operations in California. As a result, the Company has developed a solid foundation of required knowledge. Now it has entered the next crucial phase for the development of the locations it has acquired or is in the process of acquiring in the Coachella Valley and the central California wine country for the management of cultivation, nursery, extraction and manufacturing operations. The Company will also utilize its recently-awarded California State-wide cannabis distribution license to establish a leading position in the legal distribution sector of the industry. Additional projects are currently being identified in other states to further expand the LiveWire brand to worldwide recognition.

“For the last two years it has been our strategy to re-focus our efforts and evolve our business model in response to the rapidly improving public opinion and legal landscape for cannabis in the US and Canada,” explains Bill Hodson, CEO and Chairman of LiveWire Ergogenics, Inc. ( LVVV Loading... Loading... ) “We are now well on our way to manifesting the Company's position in the California cannabis market by establishing several large, fully self-contained and ‘Closed Loop’ cannabis operations.”

Up-listing to the OTCQB will allow market makers and brokers easier access to LiveWire's trading platform. The OTCQB is considered by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an “established public market” that determines the public market price of stocks for investors. Since the OTCQB requires audited financial statements and management certification, and has strict reporting standards and compliance requirements, it dramatically increases transparency and credibility for the companies traded on the exchange. This increased credibility and visibility typically results in improved liquidity and awareness for companies that are listed on the OTCQB tier, the established and official trading platform for early-stage and developing US and International companies. To learn more, visit OTCQB.

“The up-listing to OTCQB will provide our shareholders and new investors with further increased transparency and liquidity in our common stock,” adds Hodson. “Moreover, we believe that trading on this established public market will help generate enhanced exposure of our Company among institutional investors, expanding our investor universe considerably.”

ETA: I literally bought the block of shares about 30 minutes before this announcement.

What is a realistic valuation of this company? What type of returns can you expect and will this ever get to $2-$4?

Just learning about these stocks and trying to gather information on line shows that it was granted a Distribution License by California Bureau of Cannabis Control on 10/18 why has there been no positive movement in the stock?

The thing about weed stocks is that “realistic” doesn’t always enter into the equation. Some of these companies have hit billion dollar caps with ZERO revenues. Tilray hit over $20 billion cap while losing over $12 million in the previous quarter. The cannabis game is so young that stocks are running on speculation, not realistic valuation. If you’re looking for logical investment opportunity backed by sound numbers, cannabis penny stocks are probably not for you.

On announcement of the distribution license, the stock ran up to 0.62 in a day or two. 2 weeks before that you could buy it at .031. If 100% profit margin isn’t enough for you, no stocks are for you.

In all seriousness, I’m baffled by the fact that we didn’t hold in at least the mid 5s after the license announcement. The American weed sector as a whole had plenty bad days within the past month. To my understanding there have only been 400 distribution licenses issued so far in California, so getting ours was huge news. Though I’m glad it dropped back down so I could add more.

ETA: Though if I had known it would drop back down, I would have sold all mine in the 6s and bought it back in the 3s. My WAP is around .042, so I could have sold at a 50% profit. I think much bigger things are in store. I hope I’m right!

ETATA: My advice is to start small - buy a comfortable but expendable position, and when the next spike hits just sell half so you are riding freebies from that point. Read the LVVV message board on investorshub EVERY day. Once you get a feel for the stock, invest as you see fit.

This was my plan, but I can’t convince myself to give any up to be riding freebies.

IDK if it will spike again to $0.07 like last time but I just put in an sell order for that amount of the 10k shares I bought today. If I can quickly double my money on those shares, I'll be a happy camper. Especially since my other shares will still be making money.

Yeah I really need to do the same. The last 50K or so shares I bought was with money not earmarked for long term investment. I’ll probably flip some if we hit 6s again, and I think we will see that and then some before year’s end. If you watch this throughout the day all day every day like I do (and not just the open and close), you could really build up a nice share count by flipping on the 15-20% fluctuations. And I doubt the pattern will change drastically until they have the clone operation going and are making serious revenue (at which point it will soar).

LSUGrad, here’s the link to the LVVV message board....

Investor’s hub LVVV

In your spare time, go back a few months and just browse through the titles of the posts and selectively read through some - it will give you a general idea of what’s been happening and what investor sentiment has been. They also have links to all the major happenings and press releases. Pay particular attention to the posts by gmcbrokers, drugdoctor, and JDizzle - they have done most of the due dilligence over there. That site is where the majority of my info has come from.

I do check it multiple times a day. The 10k shares I bought today are purely to try and play the fluctuations.

I appreciate the insight. I did see the spike but would have thought it would have had a bit of staying power.

I have money in much more secure stocks just wanted to dip a toe (small one at that) in some penny/cannabis stocks. I will purchase some and trade as I can

GLTA hopefully can make a couple pennies. Thanks again

The biggest problem holding us down right now is volume (or lack of it). A typical trading day is a little over a million shares (65 day avg. is 1.3 mil). I think you just have the same group of people trading right now, and guys who bought in the 3s were just quick to sell and take profits when we spiked to the 6s. And at this low of a volume, it’s too easy for market makers to manipulate the share price and drive it back down.

Uplisting to OTCQB soon should give LVVV a much larger audience and lead to a big increase in volume. A huge day now is 3 or 4 million, but back in May when it ran to the 8s I think it was a lot higher than that. If the uplisting and subsequent other good news can bring us into heavy volume, like over 10 million shares/day, then we’ll see some sustainability and can be poised for a huge run. Some of these cannabis stocks have gone from pennies to dollars in a matter of 4-6 weeks time.

All that being said, I’m still shocked to see 3s - and even 4s for that matter - again after the news about the license.

Do you see any way this company gets bought out or never materializes? I know these are all speculations on your part but just curious

I think by next summer they are running strong, particularly their clone operation. A buyout is always possible though. I hope they don’t get bought out, but you never know.

I’m trying to get 25,000 more shares right now, but I’m not slapping the ask. Trying to grab some mid 3s. Thinking it may climb a bit today though.

I haven't read this entire thread but this last page makes it look like you guys are chasing penny stocks. Am I wrong?

What is different about this vs the speculation of penny crypto that people were doing earlier this year?
