Well, cannabis is tangible, has been around for thousands of years and has proven benefit to mankind that has been previously denied to the masses.

Crypto has not.

Crypto has a product too that will benefit mankind. Something like Bitcoin doesn't but others do.

My point is that the speculation in this thread with penny stocks is literally no different than Bitcoin or pharm com speculation. Just seems like people throwing money around hoping they are correct. I was genuinely interested to see if anyone had any info as to why they are buying what they are buying other than hopes and dreams.

I will leave it alone though because I don't want to hijack this thread.

Good luck to all

FWIW I plan to buy puts against TLRY for Jan/Feb. They are very overvalued and their post-IPO lockup expires in Jan.

Well there ya go.

There’s a lot of tangible information and due diligence in this entire thread. But to an extent, penny stocks are generally start-ups and thus subject to speculation. But at least, in the case of LVVV, it’s relatively educated speculation.

I think it’s been made clear here that this type of investment should be made with expendable money. And that’s the key - if one of these stocks hit, the payoff percentage could be so huge that you don’t need a large investment to make serious money. You can have a LOT of shares for a minimal investment. For my kid, what amounts to $25 originally has turned into $10,000.

I did not...what a jump today!

I’m sticking with 3 weed stocks - IHTUF, MNNFF, & TGIFF. I have the most faith in the first two.

Should I get in on this class action suit against NXTTF if I've only lost a few hundred? I've never been in a situation like this

KGKG up another 10% this a.m. Still plenty of time to hop on board.

APRU appears to be available on TDA, at least according to the TDA app on my phone

When I tried a couple weeks back, it was there with a buy or sell button, but when I tried putting in a buy it wouldn’t allow it.

I contacted TDA about APRU. I was told "TD Ameritrade has made a business decision not to open any new positions in APRU. This is due to the volatility of the stock and previous SEC filings. TDA cannot facilitate purchases of APRU at this time."

The whole sector is down. I can't tell if this is the sell off of mid-term election hype and it'll bounce back at some point, or if this is a sell off of mid term election hype to get to the correct price.

Seems like a lot of selling to create a dip.

Tillray and Canopy each had shite earnings the past few days.

Through those earnings reports there is doubt being cast on the whole sector because it is getting so competitive that the cost to operate is going up while margins are down.

I guess I will have to jump on this class-action since the price just continues to tumble. I'll at least throw my name into the hat before the Dec. 5th deadline.

I have not done it yet. If it keeps this same trajectory, I will throw my name into the hat on Dec. 4th.

It might be worth 0 by dec 4th lol.

I'm still sitting on a sizable position that's down 60% right now unrealized, but today I'm seriously considering selling everything cannabis related that isn't cgc and rolling like 75% of it into cgc. I still feel fine about my cgc that is only down 24%, I can see cgc coming back. NXTTF has a flawed longterm business plan to begin with, that was certainly a sell on Oct 15th stock.

If everyone would have just pulled the trigger and sold everything oct 15th like we all thought was probably the best day to make a move for awhile; we'd be destroying the market indexes right now; at least I would have been.

Acreage Holdings had their IPO yesterday.
It wasn't available on all brokers immediately.
There are a lot of things I don't understand:
What market was it actually listed on?
ACRG was the ticker, but my broker didn't have it at all yesterday (E Trade)
E Trade listed it as "grey market" and gave it a strange symbol.

The RTO was held for $25/share, but the IPO came out as $20/share was that simply the $CAN to $US conversion?

Anyway, I put in my order last night, hopefully I'll get some shares and let them bake for a year or two.
