How much higher can this bubble go before it explodes in everyone's faces?

a bigger issue is that a TSLA nosedive could crash all the other EV stocks as well. also, a lot of people own TSLA now and don’t know it (S&P index funds).

will be interesting that’s for sure

I’m done doubting telsa stock. I doubted it when it was $200/share before the split. I would be a rich man if I would have bought it then

plenty of downside risk at this point though, and upside is harder and harder to explain (other than sorcery). To those who have ridden the wave I applaud you, it was clearly the right decision and those who ridiculed it all the way up look dumb right now

I’d be looking for the exit ramp, or at least know where it is

Had a bunch at 400 the first go round, sold it at 900 just before covid and felt like a MFKN genius.

Then I bought a stake this go around, last time it was at 396, just trimmed a week ago. Have a tiny amount now just as a watchlist type position.

My main concern is I think Elon is more passionate and cares about SpaceX and Neuralink more than Tesla and Tesla is more of a monetary vehicle to feed his other ventures. The competition in the auto industry is ratcheting up, Tesla has a huge lead, but it's going to be chipped away year by year.

Do their "technology" gains continue at this pace enough for them to be considered a technology company? I dont know.

I have been holding tesla stock for several years now. I never thought I would say this but I am actually thinking about trimming my position. Mainly my thinking behind this is that the market cap is massive now and if it did double from here that market cap would be pretty hard to justify, even for me. There are other opportunities out there. But I will always hold a core position in the company as I am a true believer. Also the position has become a large percent of my holdings.

Anyways, what a run it went on this year. Lots of people made a lot of money and lots of people lost their arse.

Happy New Year MT!

Other than making a few hundred here and there by selling options around it, I've never had a position in TSLA. Of course, like many, TSLA and AMZN are my two biggest misses. But you don't know what the future holds. I never owned WorldCom or Enron either, so it all comes out in the wash, as long as you have goals and rules that you follow. Never look back.

Will TSLA continue to chug higher longer term, with a few dips and bumps, along the way? I wish that I knew. I'm playing small investment and trading positions in other EV, battery and LiDar makers. So we'll see.

And a very Happy New Year to you all. If we're still upright and able to pay the bills, we should all feel lucky as 2020 comes to an end - but I'm hoping and praying for a better 2021.

I think there is a lot of potential here. Just have to be selective and do research on which companies to invest in, like all investments of course.

Bought it at $75. Sold it at $150.

Thought I was clever.

I bought at $440. But I had to hold my nose and not gag as I did. Of course it has turned out great but it was not an easy thing to do. Especially when it dipped down into the 360s almost immediately. I don’t know how much longer I can hold on, but this stock just defies all logic.

Tesla 18-Wheelers/Semis will be a difference-maker. Tesla Semi Production planned this year (2021).

Video: Tesla Semi & Roadster Unveiled. (Guess who's riding in the lead truck...)

What are y’all’s thoughts on Ford and Nikola this year for EV stocks?

You and I must have bought about the same time. I bought and the next day it went down like $50 a share.

Heard Nikola is in some hot water over some smoke and mirrors. They taped some prototypes rolling downhill using gravity because they weren’t working on time, etc.

This is insanity. What am I missing here, does not add up what so ever. The only thing I can think of is the idea of merging with spaceX?
