Scenario- Major correction and/or Hyperinflation
It is understood that these will change depending on what the share price does but for the sake of the exercise lets pretend all share prices get cut to the quick equally.
Name three long-term holds you will look to acquire in a downturn
Name three short-term holds you will look to acquire in a downturn
Name three inflation hedges - these are really something you are picking up now because inflation is here.

blend of all three time frames: VIX (short term), Bonds (safe haven) & Realty funds (medium term until interest rates affect purchases) .

I had a nice run with high growth stocks over the past few years... thankfully went to ~80% cash back in November. Hoping to scoop some of these plays up for close to cash value on the balance sheet once most of the carnage is over: ORGN at ~$4, ASTS at ~$3, NVVE at ~$4, SPIR at $1.50, HUMA at $2, etc. Until then I'm just getting 1-2% in a stable value fund waiting for the bottom to fall out of the broader market. It won't be for the faint of heart, but there could be potential 50+ baggers in growth stocks on the other end of this nightmare.

I've got 3 Rolex watches I was able to purchase at retail in 2021 that are doing great right now. Going to acquire 2 or 3 more in 2022.

Agree, plenty of multi family/storage REITs yielding near 5% (closer to inflation rate) with potential to appreciate in this environment.
