I’m not saying Uber eats doesn’t. I’m sure they have someone with a lot of restaurant knowledge too helping them but with Tilman’s many successful business ventures in the restaurant and entertainment industry brings value to Waitr. He also isn’t going to spend $650M to lose money.

GrubHub stealing copyrighted material from Waitr?
Comparing the two apps the other day and rolled across some of these striking similarities. Waitr was in this restaurants area way before Grubhub and Waitr also has their own photographers to take excellent menu photos of the entire menu.
It appears that the GrubHub app is using some (or all) of the Waitr photos in this restaurant's menu. Seems like there would be some copyright infringement? Below is an example...same wings, same chicken burger. I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding, but it does make entering the Waitr markets easier for Grubhub when they use their material.

Immune to bad news?
Their earnings report blew the forward guidance for revenue out of the water; more than double. I don't think people care about those losses when they made a major acquisition.
So I'm not sure the earnings report was bad news at all.

Whoever suggested that bull call spread had it right. I was definitely turning bearish right before earnings and thought puts was the way to go.
But now it’s flirting with its 52-wk high...and not because of good earnings, just forward-looking growth. Seems curious.
Is this a triple witching short squeeze? Or is it about to get bought out by GrubHub?

The earnings call was all about Acquiring, not about being acquired.
