This. And on a Friday I’m not super optimistic about an afternoon rebounding.

Profit taking. Market has been on a heater. Need some days like this to recalibrate. Earnings haven’t changed.

Still bullish. Scared money doesn’t make money.

You are legit scared of your own shadow when you get 10% gains, and you want us to believe you are going to drop $100,000 on one company.

To be honest, I have 100 K saved for when Anthropic goes ipo. That company changed the white collar work.

I put in for a tiny but of the spacex ipo on Schwab. I don't care if it crashes really. Just want to start a position.

Anthropic on the other hand I plan on buying more of. The amount of productivity gains I have gotten from it at my job are mind blowing. Projects that I had thought about trying to build a couple year ago that would've taken me months in Excel it can one shot within 10 minutes.

Wait 6months to a year and let the lock up periods expire.

Get space x stock at 1/2 the IPO price - then set it and forget it for your kids and grandkids.

That’s my play.
That was my play for GOOG’s IPO.

It took off and never looked back bro.

This one feels like GOOG.

Too expensive market. Smart people are taking profits.

The easy macro bear case is that high margin asset light Mag 7 tech stocks have taken the market to record highs. Those companies, seemilngly overnight, have now become asset heavy with the AI build out. Those costs will be drags on earnings as depreciation will start eating into future earnings. Now you got Google and possible META diluting shareholders with raises.

So you get Mega Cap Tech selling off, and the Semis are basically in a Covid like Vaccine cycle. Low supply, high demand, means prices skyrocket. But as more supply comes on those prices will drop just as fast as they went up. Just look at a chart of Moderna during Covid. It didn’t last. The earnings were real, but they couldn’t last and the Semi under supply over demand won’t either.

Recipe for stocks dropping

Exactly where I’m at. I don’t think that necessarily had anything to do with today but i agree completely with the sentiment. There’s better stores of value outside the stock market right now.

Trump is doing liquidation of the kulaks right now with tariffs, fuel prices, fertilizer prices, eminent domain for carbon capture and data centers etc

Trumps handlers don’t want real Americans to own land and they want to replace us with Indians and Somalians

ETA: and Trump is a property developer so you know he hates seeing pristine land without a shitty hotel on top of it

ETA2: they will destroy the cattle industry next. Trumps handlers are normalizing South American diseases and next he’s gonna crash the market with unlimited imports of foreign beef

are you betting on us government solvency?

Elon musks entire play is scamming from the government. Tesla sold like 1000 cars but sold tons of fake electric charging crap to the government, the boring company should change its name to the eboringt company, spacex will also never do anything as its becoming apparent that space isn’t real and is just a place to launder tax dollars going back to the 1950s. I feel like there are people here that believe in the moon landing

George w bush was our greatest president. Back then you didn’t have to go to work every day, food was cheap, you could ride your bike everywhere. It’s crazy how much life in this country has gotten since then
