I'm back.. with two job offers on the table

Okay guys, here's the deal after a total of 8 in-person interviews.
Both are marketing positions.
I have two job offers on the table. Company A gave me an offer for $45K + 4 weeks PTO, free child-care (no kids so irrelevant) and full benefits, and company B offered for $48K+ unknown bonus, 2.5 weeks PTO, and full benefits. Went to company A and got a counter-offer of $50K. Company B would not budge on salary saying the bonus would exceed the difference in pay.
Company A, I would be the head of marketing for a smaller group of schools, and the opportunity to really spread my wings and prove myself. educational field
Company B, I would be part of a team, helping build their mediocre marketing (as it stands now it is an area they know they can improve vastly), and learn from some great minds. tech field
I'm stuck man.
thoughts?

4 weeks paid time off is mighty attractive...

What are the chances for advancement in terms of A vs. B?

Sounds like you and I are in the same field. We should have a beer and share war stories.
Both have their benefits. Company A coming up more than 10% in salary means they really want you.

If it were me, I wouldn't let pay or PTO be factors at all, they're too similar. If it were me I'd go to the place where I could make more money in X years either with them by moving up or through leveraging the experience/name.

both equal - company A has no defined marketing team or personel so it would be on me. Company B has a smaller team that is pretty green, and I could do some major skill flexing while learning from the head of the marketing team

then company A would win. if I stay for 3-5 years, I could easily leave with the title "Marketing director". I would be in my early 30's and having that title on my resume would be GREAT for further advancement should I decide to leave.

by moving up
company B has the opportunity for growth and I could learn other facets of marketing, not just SEO and online marketing. I could venture into event management and product marketing down the line. Which if I decided to stay in tech, would be great.

This is clear to me. The head of the schools really took a liking to me, and has made it very clear I'm his top candidate.

You say tech marketing, what does that mean?
I can say this I work in software sales and marketing. Even our new college hires clear $70k.
Experienced hands can clear a lot more than that.
We don't pay that for campaigns though, they probably all make around $75k.

I just meant the technology field. I'm surprised your new hires clear $70K. I interviewed with Microsoft, and they were offering $60K/yr.

Company A. No brainer.

Why is this a question?
ITS A ALL THE WAY!!!
I don't see why you would hesitateon that . They came up with better offer and have 4 weeks off. Boom

I feel that gaining experience in the tech field would open doors with larger companies later on.
Then again, who the hell knows where I'll be in 5 years, and I may very well still be able to open those doors in the education field

A IF B will not qualify the bonus and explain how it works and how much it is - there is a dead fish somewhere
Based on your info I am going with A I would rather be somewhere I am really wanted

A and it isn't close.
If they are giving you an opportunity to run your own show then do that. Don't plan to take PTO - work like hell, deliver results, and use them as a stepping-stone to that 100K next step somewhere else.
B will not give you the chance to do that.

Easy decision is A. Especially with the counter offer.
You mention you'd stay there 3-5 years, if you are even close to having kids that free childcare is a nice $10k-13K "bonus".

You running the show may not give you as much marketing experience, but you will gain more management experience. This will look much better on a resume imo in the future. Free daycare should not be totally disregarded either. I am in agreement with others, A seems like the obvious choice.

Thank you all for the feedback. I'm definitely leaning towards A.

Company C
You clearly haven't given them any real consideration.
You'll kick yourself later.
