Which sector(s) would it be currently funding/favoring?

*POINTLESS HYPOTHETICAL*

I'm just curious to know which industries are suffering the most on this current switch of government bennies..

Is the hypothesis here with the flip in Congress possible in Nov, that there will be backlash against the current gov spending on data centers.

I would assume the budget would flip from defense/AI/data centers back to some sort of infrastructure type deals etc.

Define infrastructure. Because almost all of what I saw during ARIRA was interchanges near an interstate on a local road, with lots of signs talking about ARIRA. Always in swing states (OH, PA, etc.) and never any discussion about a loop in LA, or any roads in Texas, etc, because that is not how you buy votes where you need them.

Yeah but money was still spent if you are looking to invest moving forward. Money will be spent on bridges, road upgrades etc. Who knows if it will be in your backyard, and anything that gets awarded will take years before it even starts.

Clean Energy deals for solar, wind etc...
Rural healthcare
Public transit.

That is primarily what "they invested in". Once again any of this type of money will take years to play out.

Without getting into politics,I expect if Democrats take congress, that everything will be status quo, and just be in a state of gridlock. I just dont see much of anything going on govt spending change with Trump still in office.
