Sold 1900 shares of AMC in January after it looked like the bubble burst.

I legit am having anxiety over it feeling like a dumbass. How do you get through these bad beat moments in investing?

I mean amc was basically gambling. Do you beat yourself up for not buying lottery tickets?

Same here. I bought 1,000 at $4.50 and sold at it's last rise in March ($12.50) b/c I thought nothing furhter was going to come of it. Yes, I made a nice little profit, but knowing now that I left $50,000+ on the table has had me sick to my stomach all day.

Same thing as standing at the casino looking at past hands dealt.

I got in Friday and regret not using leverage.

Did you make money? If so, take it as a win.

Looking too far past that and you’ve just got a gamblers mindset. Which isn’t what investing is about.

I sold 25k share of Waitr at in the beginning of the pandemic. Made over $6k but could have netted over $100k, but it’s all good. I made money, which was the point of the investment and plowed it into something else. Celebrate your wins, don’t get caught up in the hindsight of a decision. Keep making money.

I stumbled into the meme part of it. I saw AMC get a lifeline and bought then. Few days later I wake up to it blowing up (then down).

I made money, but that was a dream of an opportunity.

Not too late to get back in from what the stock is doing and seems poised to do in the next few weeks. Put in a few bucks you're willing to lose and see what happens. Not financial advice just stating an option available.

You can’t see around the corner and literally no one could predict shite that was gonna happen with gme or amc.

Get over yourself.

Brother, been there, done that. I held several bitcoin a few years back. Went down a little and I bailed. Still don't understand the draw to it, but that being said, if I'd have held, I'd be sitting on a small fortune right even with the recent drop.

No one can predict the future. No one buys the bottom and sells the top unless they are lucky. Gotta learn to move on. After accepting this you will get better at trading. If you made money good job. There’s always opportunities out there

I bought FCX in the $7-$8 range and sold part of it in the mid-teens. Still did ok.

How were you supposed to anticipate that AMC would double for no reason on June 2?

Almost everyone can say this about a stock they sold at some point. Even the people who get lucky enough to hit big have had situations like this. Patience almost always proves to be the best route.

Just think of all the other things you didn’t buy that have done as well or better. There will always be 100x speculative bets you don’t own. Thinking about those will make it all feel better.
