Not sure why the other HYSA thread got anchored, but the Capital One 360 rate just went down to 3.9%.
What rate are you getting on your HYSA?

Looks like I’ll be looking for another HYSA depending on the rates.

I also have Cap One, but I assume they all are going lower.
Vanguard VMFXX is 4.58

Ya, they'll head down faster than they went up.
Sofi lowered recently to 4.2%.
I actually have a lot on VMFXX but the way Sofi checking and overdraft protection works, I keep my money all in the HY savings account and my checking at $0 to get the best rate on my monthly expense money. They just automatically pull all the overdrafts from savings.

Chasing HYSA rates is a fools errand. They are all going lower. Soon as you switch that one will be lowered as well. Not worth the hassle. Stick with one that’s consistently near the top and roll with it. I do Capitol One 360

Capital one 360 here. Won’t change either. Seeing those articles about millions being lost?

Lower the fed rate lower the interest rate. And I saw it in my account for the last week at least being 3.8. So if you want rate to increase hope for a fed rate increase. Stock market will have a bad week with announcement of 8nterest rate decrease

I keep cash that I need within 6 months in a Fidelity money market fund (FDLXX) which is still getting 4.23%. Cash I need 6+ months I use t-bills.

3.8 is lower but this is where I keep my emergency fund. All other money is making a lot more but would be 1-2 days to get to
