Maybe
Maybe not
Anyone that’s says otherwise is lying or trying to sell something

The election itself won't have an effect it's the implied legislation that comes with it. More than likely the really radical stuff isn't even proposed on the House floor. The stimulus in 2021 is going to be freaking ridiculous whichever figurehead is in the WH.

I think it's already baking in a trump election. If Biden wins, stocks will drop instantly

How’s you come to that conclusion? Biden is ahead of Trump in all the major polls.

So was Billary, how did that work out for them?

Don't pay attention to the polls until after the first debate. Polls before then are used to shape public opinion, not reflect it.

Vegas odds are on Biden. Worth a lot more than polls

Trump is going to landslide this election. Just look at the viewing numbers of both conventions. People are sick of the left right now. With that said, re election of trump will be great for the market.

My point in saying this is to ask how can the market have a Trump victory priced in when data is showing the opposite. I’m not debating the accuracy of the polls, just pointing out that it’s foolish to say that a Trump win is already priced in, considering the positives surrounding the Biden campaign.

hey dude if you really think that then $$ cash it with Vegas. better head to the polls. all I'm saying. sleepy doing very well right now.

Trump was +200 at this time before the last election.

I agree with your logic here. Much like when people here mistakenly claimed that the (still questionable) stimulus was “priced in”, I also don’t see that the prior claim about a Trump victory is priced in either.
It has nothing to do with what I do or don’t want to happen. It’s simply what the data at hand is showing the markets right now. And I’ve not heard a single major market participant make that claim.
People also need to step back and realize that the make up of the House and Senate matter at least as much as who occupies the White House next year. And it appears that there’s a high probability that the Senate might flip.
